Where`s Oliver Cromwell when you need him.

Pretty sure the royalists dug up his dead body when they restored the monarchy, they then hung, drew and quartered it, before spreading the pieces across the four corners of London, he has a statue on Cromwell Green outside parliament, his head is looking down. As a final insult to him the royalist placed a bust of King James the first's head on the end of St Margarets church opposite the statue so that for all time Cromwell will have his head bowed to the King he had beheaded.

Ex-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, 70, is also keen on the job at Middlesbrough, who are three points from safety with 11 Premier League matches remaining. (Daily Mail)

WHY WHY WHY. My plan was to retire at 45, Due to Ahem problems I had to defer to 55. Been enjoying myself ever since. I just don`t understand the need to keep chasing mo`money. DD Angry Angry

Have Boro got the necessary cash resources to fund this spendthrift's desire to splash the cash.

Given his past history with Portsmouth and Southampton, I think that Boro would be well advised to steer clear.

Can't stand the man meself and wouldn't want him anywhere near a team I supported.

Very grumpy this morning, what with my wife's faceache, lousy lousy weather, etc, so I'm trying to force a grin by resurrecting Drewks' old Thread.......

That actor who wants to be James Bond (Idris Elba) had better get his pronunciation right.....
on the adverts he pronounces 'H' as haitch, which all kids were told off for when I was at school aged about 7.

(Feeling a bit better now.)
