Celtic v Hibs: Sat 30 Sept, KO 3.00pm

Our 1st meeting in a long time v the Hoops and a case of 'the same again' but Lenny no doubt will try to set up some kinda holding strategy to stifle a rampant unbeaten Celtic team. We'll see how it works out but it will be tough.

I'd have 4-5-1 when Celtic have the ball and a potential 4-3-3 when we have it. Bartley will be a vital player in this one, as will both Boyle and Barker (possibly only one at a time), straining at the leash to get in behind the Celtic defence. Forget fancy football, be secure and safe at all times and go for them if given any kind of chance. Expect a heavy defeat and hope for a bit of a surprise points haul.

St johnstone very nearly won there after they had a tough CL tie. We will cause them problems going forward,it really is about whether we can defend well enough on the day and stay solid as a unit. If we do it wouldn't be a huge surprise if we took a point.

I expect Lenny to try and do to Celtic what we did to Barca all those year ago
Tight Back 4
midfield 5 sitting deep
and 1 running hard up front

Wont be there but still expect a win?

Prob won't happen but I wouldn"t put it past Hibs and Lenny to end Celts' long unbeaten domestic record on Saturday - an element of fate attached to this game!

Its the kind of formation we should be playing a wee bit more edgie. We seem to err more to a 4-3-3 these days.

If fonts or McGregor were fit I'd go 3-5-2. But we are where we are. I'm looking forward to it.

Where's good for a jar in town these days ?

Training it aye edgie. Think we will head down for the counting house and get a taxi down.

After last night I'd be telling our team to fire every shot we can at Gordon. He's a decent goalie with good reactions but he definitely has a tendency to push shots back into the danger zone at times.
