Jonny Evans will be joining Manchester City. I'm told a fee has been agreed medical expected tonight. #MCFC #WBAFC

Based on this article, the issue is Mangala's reluctance to move to West Brom, the possibility of them signing Sanchez and Man City's wage bill.

Welcome to our / yourr board, looking forward to chatting and bantering with you.

Baggieman, it must be mass hysteria / group hallucinations, I had the same dream, a proper, orthodox left back at the Albion, that would never happen, I also dreamt that we signed a top top quality polish midfielder that had been a target of champions league teams all over Europe ...... ah well back to reality ....... paper thin squad, anxious transfer deadline day, bargain basement signings at the eleventh hour ..............

Wow, wow, wow really really excited ....... not quite a squad of 78 excited but boy darned close.

Morning Playmates, so getting settled in for the last 12 hours of the transfer window; Earwig O - Earwig O - Earwig O

First one already Kane Wilson out on loan to Exeter.

Evans has travelled with N.I. so any medical would have to be done out there now, unless they did it yesterday on the QT. Given the choice though I would rather keep Evans than sell him for £30m then buy Sakho for £30m, I think Evans is a better player and definitely a lot more professional in his attitude to football as a whole.

Being reported on Twitter unless chadli or Evans go there will be no more incomings
Evans is due to fly out at 11am and has turned up at the airport in his baggies top on Thumb up
So incomings may be short but if we don't sell I don't give Fook what we do on deadline day for the first time since Bomber was born ?
Then again the journos have hardly any inklings on our transfers this season so who knows Thumb up

Only mention I have seen on news now is the Dutch Tottenham striker possibly leaving london, we have been mentioned as having put in an offer.

Arsenal and Man City rumoured to be out of running for Jonny

Chadli interested in move to South Wales.

If evans stays then defensive side of squad sorted

Could still do with attacking midfielder and a striker .........

That price seems a little high, I only say this as we we're supposedly doing a double deal for him and Wimmer for £30m not so long back. Wimmer went for £18m, so allowing for buy one get one free deal I would have thought £18-20m max. Has the price risen because of deadline day.

Even if Evans stays, I think we need another centre half as I don't think 6 senior defenders is enough.

An attacking / box to box midfielder would be nice, but not essential if Chadli stays.

Likewise, a striker would be nice, but not essential because we have a few players who can cover there.

All in all, as it is, our squad is still a bit short in numbers, especially given we have several players who have had injury problems in the past. That said, quality wise, it's looking very decent.

I suspect we're going to stick with the numbers we have now and we will only see replacements come in if Evans / Rondon go. I expect if Chadli goes, we wouldn't replace him.

According to Walesonline Swansea cooling interest in Chadli as they change their focus to a striker.

Don't want late departures with insufficient time to bring in replacements.
