Said it at the start of the window and I'll say it again now. Letting Darren Fletcher leave was going to be the start of a decisive and hopefully positive transfer window for us, and what an upgrade we've signed in Krychowiak!

If we by some miracle hold onto Evans that would just top it off, and going by what Gerry Francis has said Krychowiak is not the last signing we'll be making this window either!

Quality signing who has come to us because he obviously wants to play football, which is a good sign.

Hopefully a bit more business to come. A a centre half and an attack minded central midfield player would be nice if Chadli goes.

(I'm speechless)

In fact take all my comments re the back room staff doing 'f' all and Pulis not attracting the right kind of player and insert them into my backside and kick as hard as you like.

This has to be the best signing that this club has made in recent years up there with Evans and Fletcher (at the time). If we can sign two or more players of Krychowiak's calibre then there will be lots of potential for this season.

Get the work permit sorted for Souza and then sign another striker to finish our midfield and forward line. Finally a centre back to replace Evans if he leaves but I have a suspicion that he will stay. Maybe another goalkeeper as well to give Foster fierce competition.

I am now dreaming of Evans and Chadli staying, if they did I would be happy now. I am certain Rondon would be a great striker .......... IF he gets the service!!! Also don't forget Burke can play up front as well as on the wing.

I have a suspicion that the Souza link was a smoke screen for the Krychowiak deal, hope not but it wouldn't surprise me.

Hope the striker isn't Barnes though...

Krychowiak's arrival means Souza deal is now dead. There isn't an option to buy included in the loan, but still... that's some coup #wba

Well that's a shame as I was really hoping that we were going to bring them both in given their different positions and qualities.

If we are going to keep the 4-1-4-1 formation as our primary system then in my opinion we need to sign another central midfielder. We have Livermore, Morrison and Field for the two centre midfield positions but we could do with a quality addition. The only way around it is to have Krychowiak and Yacob as our defensive midfielders and then play Barry as a central midfielder in the same mould as Fletcher was (experienced head who will keep things simple) or use Brunt as a central midfielder playmaker.

Either way tomorrow should be an exciting day for the club and fans with hopefully some more quality signings. Thumb up
