I hate the transfer window and how long it goes on, but if ever this turns out to be true it will be worth all the frustrations and moanings. This would be an absolute coup to land this bloke, he's top drawer

I would be amazed and very happy as well but as good as he is, which of our multitude of defensive midfielders are we going to lose to free up a place?

Of course he is better than most, if not all our current DM's, but even TP would not play 4 DM's  across the middle would he............................... hmm, well may be.

I though would always be a little hesitant to bring in a loan and then put signed first team players on the bench for a year or next year we will be looking for 2 new DM's.  Personally i would like to see the team spending time on finding a couple of attacking midfielders which I hope they are as well

Unless of course he comes with the option to buy, geez I want my cake and eat it.

Flipping back to Burke for a post, loved these comments by Mark McGhee the assistant Scotland coach

This guy would walk into most sides and if we land him on loan this will be the coup of the window for a team of our stature. Fingers well and truly crossed that the Perce is right!

Personally though, although probably a little bit naively; if we can somehow hold onto Evans that would be the signing of the window for me. We cannot underestimate how well Jonny has played since signing for us and to lose him for anything less than £30m would be daylight robbery.

I'm with young Beefy on this one.
Until a contract has been signed and he's photographed holding up a Baggies shirt I for one won't believe these media stories. Of course it would be an excellent loan but let's wait and see. Too many cases of this type of speculation in the past for us only to end up disappointed.
