You'll still be saying that on the last day of the window.

Chris Wood to Burnley for £15m.....  Did we yet again miss out on a profit then.
Didn't he leave us on a 'free' ?  Personally, I never reckoned he was good enough for the Prem so will be interesting to see how he goes on.

Over the past couple of years the monies coming in from various deals, but primarily from T.V deals has escalated beyond all expectations. You look at last year's transfer deals.

IN

Nasser Chadli
Matt Phillips
Allan Nyom
Hal Robson-Kanu
Brendan Galloway (loan)
Marc Wilson (loan)
Callum McManaman (waste of a squad number)
Sébastien Pocognoli (loan)

OUT
Saido Berahino
James Chester
Rickie Lambert
Cristian Gamboa
Craig Gardner
Jonas Olsson
Anders Lindegaard
Sébastien Pocognoli
Victor Anichebe
Marc Wilson (and back in again)
Brendan Galloway
Stéphane Sessègnon

Referring back to the above and what we are hearing about us having to do this deal, before we do that deal, I have one question, where has all the money gone??
Even if each of the 12 players who have left were only on £20,000 a week that would make £12,480,000 saving available for wages.

Think there's a few more come in during TPs time than in the list - Evans, Fletcher (and out again), Livermore, McClean, Rondon.

But still... I agree 100% that the transfer dealings this summer are an absolute joke. Clearly the new owners seem to be doing things the same was as JP - Profit first.

Somehow we've managed to scrape 6 points despite struggling to field even an XI of senior professionals. 10 days left to deal and at least 3-4 needed, plus replacements for whoever goes (Evans, Chadli and Rondon likely).

I'm very pessimistic despite the good start - because a few injuries and we're absolutely screwed. I really don't think the board are going to back the manager, but hope I'm proved wrong.

Burnley have made an £8m offer to French Ligue 2 side Lorient for Ghania forward Abdul Majeed Waris, 25. (Burnley Express)

I am sitting here wondering perhaps these clubs like the Sham and Burnley, don't really get wind of who we are looking at.  They just read Beefy's posts Whistle

This hole smoke screen we have at the Albion is Bullshit!! We seem to be about the only team who take about 6 weeks too sign somebody that everybody else can get wrapped up in a week. Why cant we be linked and wrap it up without all of the procrastination!!! Like most say here, despite our good start and favourable fixture list, I really fear if by the window we haven't added at least 2 or 3 new additions!!! It's like a lottery with your death number waiting to come up, ffs Albion do some business, decent business and put us out of misery sooner rather than later, Rrrrraaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
