7 goals conceded and scored 2. I don't think we should panic just yet.

It was always going to be difficult tonight and I thought we gave our best but ultimately weren't good enough.I said the team cant be judged on tonight but we need to get out of the losing streak quickly .

Do I detect a dose of reality creeping in Blue? If we don't get a result Saturday things will get interesting.

I'm sure a penalty is a shot on target or off.

When we lose again on Saturday surely even the idiots behind the scenes at Chesterfield will sack Walter Mitty, head down the road to Sheffield FC and bring a potential manager back to the club?

The result was better than I expected, but to give German ten minutes in a game already well lost shows the guy is randomly grabbing pointless ideas from the ether. He's so clueless he doesn't even know it. On Saturday he will be 2 for 22. Not a bad return if you're bowling at cricket. Shitty for a footie manager.

For the first time in my life I'll be praying for a heavy Chesterfield defeat on Saturday to provoke change. Of our potential relegation rivals only Crawley and Harry Kewell are showing equal enthusiasm for regular thrashings.

This is the EFL not the World Masochism Championships.

Dev, if we get stuffed 5-0 by Notts on Saturday it wont provoke any change. The only reason Caldwell can possibly still be our manager is because we cant afford to get rid.

The reactions to last nights game say it all, same as last season, wrong formation, wrong players in wrong positions, backing off and backing off, giving the opposition all the space they want in midfield. Nothing has changed and it cant be the fault of the players surely.

Dancing mate you're probably right about the Cauldwell Valley of Death into which eleven not-so-brave men have to charge each week. We can't afford to get rid of him which effectively means we can't afford to keep our league status ......... which also has to be nonsensical. It's like shooting your head off to live on the insurance money.

If you play wing backs they can't let themselves be pushed back all the time to become five at the back. If they do that, then two forwards have to fall back into midfield. If the forwards don't do that, you've had it, because you can't get the ball, you can't keep it, you can't attack so you are permanently fire-fighting. You know all this, you've watched it happening.

GC's recruited players that together DO NOT MAKE A TEAM. Someone, maybe O'Grady for a start, has to learn to play a different position. Notts County are crap. They will be nowhere near the top half of the table. They'll beat us easy.

Just seen the highlights from last night. We are far too open and seem to invite players to run into space and shoot. We saw it time and time against Grimsby no xxxx closing down the opposition when they are on the ball or forcing them into a mistake.

We aren't a bad team honestly ,i detect doom and gloom but honest its not that bad .I hope you will be reasonable if we win on Saturday and retract some of the criticism of Caldwell ,after all its one defeat in which we had 30 attempts on goal and another defeat in which we were up against a top Championship side away from home ,Id suggest a dose of realism is required on your part too Dancing .
Maybe we will all be realistic after Saturday .

Not brimming at all mate I just dont think we are as bad as the results.Admittedly i'm not as bullish as i was before Grimsby but Im still looking at the positives,if we play like we did against Grimsby and Wednesday and take our chances we will be ok .I just hope we can get a win either at Nottingham Carnty or home to PV to restore my faith to previous heights.
