I thought the kids were great. We took control when they came on. Leko and Harper looked quality. Wilson and Field were ok. Jay Rod scored a cracker and Hezagi looks proper quality too. A decent performance but a few too many long balls for me.

Missed the game, but sounds relatively positive and good to see the new lad get a game and impress.

Did see the goals though. Good movement, touch and finish from Rodriguez. Fingers crossed he can keep himself fit.

Pulis' 3-4 max additions is slightly worrying, as I think we need 4 at least, but was hoping for 5-6 with a couple youngsters in the mix. With potentially 3, there's no room for error.

I'd like to see a left back, centre half, couple of midfielders, left mid and a forward... but we'll see.

A good midfielder and left back are paramount. I'd also like to see a more creative left winger, but guess that will be a step too far...

Also thought the kids did a good job. Leko looked dangerous and direct.  Was a good run-out for most.  Hegazi coped surprisingly well for his debut, and looks as though he could step in well for G Mac if required.  Phillips looked almost back to his best , Rondon worked hard as usual.  Brunt didn't have his best game, but overall a tidy enough performance for pre-season..... Everything taken into consideration.

Looks like we are playing in our away kit again. This is disappointing for me be because Palace played in their home kit against Liverpool. We need to promote the Blue and White in my opinion. I know it sounds silly but a lot of fans in the Far East like teams simply because of their strips.

This is a chance to Promote West Bromwich Albion and I think we are missing a trick here.
Just noticed Palace in away kit too plus my daughter just reminded me RED is the Chinese lucky colour.

He wanted to stay on and walked off ok. He did go over on his ankle but more precautionary. He looks good as CDM.

My opinion and I'll get Pelters is we need another 4 or 5 quality signings like Jay Rod and Hegazi and a new manager. He's changed the system but he constantly shouts orders and in my opinion totally confuses things. Let them play. Don't like him, never have. I have praised him when necessary but sadly it's not that often.

Bit lackluster in midfield, hopefully the kids will come on and show the seniors how to move the ball forward and string a couple of passes together.

Yacob and Nyom walking a tightrope now. Phillips looking good and Hegazi looks accomplished. Chadli needs to get involved more as does Rodriguez and Livermore. Think I'd put Rodriguez down the middle and HRK on for Rondon.

We need to strengthen because although a few positives it's gonna be a long hard season. My Albion player of this tournament is Hegazi.

Both Roberts and HRK should have scored in the last 2 minutes.
