Can see the point of signing one or two players with experience but I don't see the point of abandoning everything we've tried to do in order to fill the squad with old lags. Nowt wrong with coming back down as long as we give it a good go on the pitch.

45 years ago, our main problem was that we didn't sign a goal scorer. Frank Worthington top scored with 9 in our first season back. It wasn't until we'd got relegated that we signed Alan Gowling.
Nahki and big Col are both great players but do they have the finishing skills we need at this level?
Where are we going to get our Jamie Vardy from? Not Tammy Abrahams by the look of it. He's off to Newcastle.

Danny Ward wants another loan with us apparently. Some difficult decisions to be made this season. I think this might be one of them. Really not sure. No room for, and can't be based on, loyalty and sentiment. Tricky one for me this!

Only allowed 4 loans all season, only 2 at a time and not both from the same club. Hoyle's cheque book could be worn out before we get the second payment if we ain't careful. Man City have an England keeper going cheap - but his wages wont be.
