Pilks looked uninterested in that last game of the season, when his team beat us 3-0. Think his career needs a kick up the arse and maybe a return to the club where he's played his best football, who just happen to now be in the premier league, might be a good move.

I would have had him for the right price/wage in the championship, but not too sure about the prem now

At XMAS time, Hoyle, Wagner and the rest of the board must have realised there is a chance of the playoffs/auto promotion.
So after the transfer window closed, Wagner must have given the board a list of players he wants for both the Championship and the Prem.
I'm assuming there are a lot of negotiations going on behind the scenes right now.
I don't think we should panic.....knowing Wagner he will have planned for the Prem. He'll know who he wants.
Personally, I'd love to nick Chris Woods from Dirty L666s. If not him, then why not take a punt on Peter Crouch? And that Danny Williams from Reading. Charlie Adam? Peter Odemwingie. It's getting exciting now.!!!!

Wages Shep. Wages. Most of those will be so out of our range unless they took big big wage cuts. The way that premier league football is though, you'd think some players would care more about playing than being on the bench or in the stands so we still have a chance. Imagine if we went in for Wood. Just imagine it. I think he'd fit our system perfectly but I think Wagner will have his eye on foreign targets up front. We need two centre backs, one perm and one maybe a loan until JGS gets back fit. Definitely need at least 2 central midfielders if Mooy goes. Then it'll depend on what he does with the supposed squad players i.e. Bunny, Scanz, Lolley. Will he give them a chance in the prem? Scanz and Lolley both been unlucky with injuries this season but David and Deano won't have room for sentiment for giving it a right good go of staying up next season.

Hope you are joking about Peter odemwingie, charlie adam bit off pace but could do a holding role, probably better players out there that are cheaper too
