Huddersfield are formally in the Premier League - I have adjusted the forum.
Welcome and good luck for next season (but not at the cost of The Albion) -

Let me know if you want to come over and i'll try to get you located near us .... easier said than done these days but we can give it our best shot.
Yeah maybe. I hope we draw you away in the FA Cup but it means getting to the 3rd round its very rare we get past the 1st round.
Rob Beckett the comedian has been moaning that Huddersfield isn't a proper team and he wants Forest, Villa, Leeds or the Sheffield clubs in the Premier League than Brighton, Burnley, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Watford etc etc.
Now Rob Beckett supports West Ham but a lot of Premier League fans think the same thing. Problem with the Premier League is there is only 7 teams who realistically have a chance of winning it so maybe those 7 teams should create their own mini league.
The bigger teams are starting to get worried because the gap between the Premier League and Championship is getting narrower and sooner or later teams like Leicester will upset the apple cart a bit more regular

Noted that plenty of "where can I buy a season ticket" supporters have now crawled out of the wood work in and around Huddersfield.
Well guys and gals, you are going to be disappointed.
I'll explain why and this is based on the capacity of 24500...it will drop from that figure before next season
For a kick off we have to offer 10% capacity to the opposition 2,450
So that takes us down to 22,050
We have 17,552 season card holders and we have to offer 5% to home non season card holders that's another 1,103 (rounded up), so that 18655 in the home area leaving just 3,395 seats but we can't actually sell another 3,395 season cards because if every season card holder is guaranteed a ticket for cup home games then 1200 have to be moved into the 3 home sections of the crowd that have a capacity 20,446
So simple maths of 20446 - 17552 = 2894
Now subtract the 5% 1,103 from 2,894 = 1791
Now that 1791 figure doesn't include for any segregation, camera positions in the stands..remember folks we will be live global next year and a expanded press box and bigger dugouts...all that will eat into our capacity...by my reckoning 1500 season cards extra IF Dean decides to put them back on sale

Sean Jarvis was saying that if you they should lift the suspension on sales, people can expect to pay a lot more than £199. He also said those that got them for £199 were very lucky indeed. He did also go on to say that those who had stuck with them would always be looked after. I took that to mean that they won't price us out of the game. I hope not.

Unbelievable 48 hours. Green Man was great before the game - just a brilliant atmosphere with thousands of like minded people who were determined to make the most of the day regardless. The march to the stadium (I didn't plan on going, more accidentally walked behind them) was amazing - never seen a bigger sea of blue and white, flares, flags, just everything added to it. The match itself was similar to the League 1 final - we probably edged it over the 120 minutes but it became a match between 2 teams afraid to lose. The penalties again were awful to watch, if anyone didn't deserve to be the villain it was Hef so I'm delighted the rest of the lads dug him out of that hole. Everything was a bit of a blur from the second Schindler stepped up, pure pandemonium, euphoria, god knows what you call it but I've never felt emotion like it. Half collapsed, burst into tears and grabbed anyone who was around me as hard as I could. Blagged our way into the rooftop bar in the Hilton after the game so spent the next few hours drinking champagne from the bottle overlooking Wembley, then after that I've no real recollection of anything between the hours of 10 and 3. The amount of people who packed into the square yesterday, and the passion shown by everyone on that stage, made yesterday just as special - Wagner taking the mic and continuously singing Town songs shows just how much he's taken the club to his heart.
I can't wait for next season to start. Really hope we have a nice kit, arrange a good pre-season tour of Germany, and bring back as many of the loanees as possible.

So so so so glad that me and my Dad took the plunge and bought season tickets. Can't even imagine my pain at knowing I couldn't go to watch premier league games next season. He promised me if we got promoted he'd buy me the new kit so I'm either getting Hefele or Schindler. Will probably plump for Hef but I have the biggest man crush on Schindler now. Signings wise we probably need two centre backs with JGS crocked until November, two midfielders, two wingers and two strikers with possibly more depending on how many of the squad players he ships out. A bigger rebuilding job is needed than last season. Going to be an exciting summer.

First thing Wagner has to do is replace Ward,Brown and Mooy unless he can get them all back for next season. He then has to look at improving the rest of the squad to give us a fighting chance of survival

Once again, congratulations to the terriers, welcome to the greed league.
A couple of points to start you off:-
1, your first target has got to be to reach 12 points, you have got to get more points than Derby did.
2, you will need to sign players ..... here's the rub, you will find the price of players suddenly increases.
And a freebie. ..... the biased media will never give you credit for playing well, the other team had a bad day, your not from the north west or London so you do not exist, you will generally be televised when Sky think you will get thumped.
Enjoy, sing your hearts out for your lads ........... stay up, don't get carried away by the highs and the lows, there are only 7 teams in this league, you will get long runs of bad results ....... Don't panic.
Live, love and remember every moment.

Shep, I can remember a penalty shoot out loss. A cold, rainy night at Saltergate in the Auto Paintpot Trophy. If I remember rightly, it was Anthony Pilkington who blasted the ball out of the ground.
