Just looking at that photo it looks like Steve Coe (SBK) has got something stuck up his backside - maybe a heavies gun?

No .I honestly think Carson, limited as he is , is doing his best to turn things around and to be honest a lot of what is going on is a legacy of the times when the old directors and Chris Turner /Fitzgerald were there. We got relegated ,it happens to other clubs as well as us .I still think the idea of a self sufficient club is the right one its just that DA has made a balls up of it .I dont sit comfortably with oligarchs and arabs using clubs as playthings .Its not fair on the others .Jezza Corbyn should be running the FA
I've said all along if there are any underhand shenanigans going on then surely it has been highlighted enough to get the local hacks and police involved ,Ill leave it to them and I will just concentrate on how we are doing on the pitch .
We have our first signing today and the score so far is Fat bastard 7 - us 1 .Two more coming in tomorrow.
Ill be renewing my ticket tomorrow so I might hang around to see if i can spot any potential signings .

Wouldn't it be GOOD if we had a thread called PROMISES instead of THREATS. (With John Lennon playing Imagine in the background.)

Somebody should be breaking out in a cold sweat. Just reported on Bobs Board that a private investigator has traced the original knuckle dragger and its been reported to the police. Even though I have absolutely no confidence in the boys in blue whatsoever, surely they have to now get involved and follow up what somebody else has paid to find out.
Just read post 4384 on the longest running thread, it makes very interesting reading. Things are getting very serious.

Well if things are as sinister as some people say then the police will get involved its as simple as that.
A guy called chesters a ringer has put a post on bobs board which has most of the big egos on there spitting feathers .I actually agree with a lot of what he says ,there are folk on there with their own agendas more than the clubs best intentions and they have had few successes in finding out bad things that are happening which is fine but some of the things that are on there are totally unfounded but they are hungry for more now they have had a taste of it. Some idiot has made malicious threats to Carson on twitter and has been found out and had his collar felt for it .
Carson doesn't come across well in a lot of his messages, he sounds pissed some of the time but I really do thing he is doing his best to turn things around ,whether he can do this faced with the opposition from some influential fans is yet to be seen.

To be honest the part that worries me most is not the threats or their source it is the fact that club clearly doesn't have a clue how to deal with things.

It shouldn't be down to a Carson tweet or a churning rumour mill. A representative of the club should be telling it straight. The flashy new information-free website should be an interface between club and fans not a variable flow of information ranging from a cascade to a dribble, dependent on some valve regulated by how damaging the club perceives it to be.

The club creates suspicion by its approach to managing information. Frankly it is so naive it would be far better off relying on the truth, the whole truth and nothing but. You need to be clever to be a liar.

It is remarkable to me that no one at the club seems capable of even anticipating fans' queries about team matters. Don't they think fans will ask what does it say about Tommy Lee if we sign Anyon and he starts talking like first-choice keeper? Can't they guess fans might ask why a goal scoring youngster like Ricky German can't make the bench for a totally goal-free team? AND MORE IMPORTANT if they can't anticipate and negotiate such simple day-to-day concerns how can we expect them to deal with issues like honesty/criminality, finance/bankruptcy, making decisions/remaining mere victims of circumstance.

For all I know Mr Carson et al may be doing their level best, but it dun't look rate good. And when chaos reigns all sort of voices come to the fore. Whether he has intended things to be this way or not, the way the club is comes back to Mr Allen. IMO it's a lot easier to let the genie out of the bottle than to get him back in.
