19 years old. Used to play for Man City youth team and Sheffield United youth team. Never made a first team league appearance for Sheffield United but played in the EFL trophy against Walsall as a sub. Went on loan in 2015 to FC Halifax and scored 1 goal in 5 appearances.

Looks like its going to be loanees all the way. According to the AC interview money wont be made available till the Jan window and only then if we get some sell on fees from other clubs. Maybe they don't trust GC with all the budget and want to keep something in reserve. Either way I am really not looking forward to next season.

We're just about to sign , by all accounts , a very promising young striker Dancing on a year long loan and you are pulling it down already !
Just give it a chance ay lad ?

ON LOAN !! Blue oh Blue. If it makes you feel better, OK I am really happy that we getting in a guy who has done not a lot so far in his career. Sheff U must be laughing their socks off - let little old Chesterfield see if they can develop him for a bit and add some value for us.
GC's record on loanees stinks. If he proves me wrong with this one then I will hold my hand up and say so. In The meantime I wasn't pulling him down, I was pulling the policy down of bringing in other clubs youngsters when we have our own.

I dont mind loan players as long as they are season long ones, sometimes they work sometimes not .Invariably you are getting a better quality player on the cheap so has to be value for money surely. What should change is the amount of loanees a club can have .I even think 3 of the January signings will do well in time.Grimmy,Faupy and Kakay.
I have no idea why I am so optimistic but When I get this feeling Im usually right.
Hopefully Brooks will be the first of half a dozen quality signings.

Dancing is right. Have you not listened to that interview? This team is going to be made up of free transfers, loan signings and non-league players. It sounds like we won't be going out and buying players for a fee.

TBF in your financial position would you really expect to be going out and paying transfer fees for players?? I know your financial position is somewhat being forced upon you by your chairman (best not to say too much about him!!!) but if you are truly losing a million quid a season, then paying for players on the whole has to be out of the question.

No. With the debt the club has we need to live within our means.
