They need to find a manager first, but the money they now have will make them difficult to compete with. Next season's Championship will be as hard as ever, so lets keep winning and make it irrelevant to us!!!!

I think Norwich and Villa and us to some extent ? have proved that money does help but doesnt solve the problem of the physical fight in this league !! Borro have the type of fans that dont stick together when times are hard and thats why i think they wont get a sniff next year a few bad results at the start of the season and there ground will be empty !!

True, it doesn't guarantee anything as plenty of team have shown, but if you want to keep challenging then the prem money is the only way you can do it. We have maybe one more season of spending before FFP will kick in, makes this season so important if we can make the play offs.

Quite enjoyed the game today, even with the nervous last twenty minutes. I wish we could finish these games off like we did a lot more last season, but, a win's a win!

Thought we played some good stuff in the first half with Kieran Lee prominent in a lot of the good stuff. It's nice to have him back but he faded quickly after half time, understandably, and it was no surprise to see him go off. I thought the game might be up when we conceded the sucker punch goal straight after half time and wobbled badly for the next 5 minutes. Westwood is a terrific keeper but he's one of the most obvious panicked when we let one in, wellying the ball all over the pitch instead of taking a moment and calming things down. I'm not sure what Rowett is on about Will Hughes could have gone down for a penalty when he had his shot cleared off the line, I didn't see anything but the slightest contact. If Forestieri had gone down under contact like that he'd have been howling for blood! Oh yes, he did just that when Forestieri was run off the ball by Ince late on. It wasn't a foul and Forestieri was trying to draw contact but the ref called it right and gave Rowett a telling off for trying to get an opponent booked.

Anyway, we got back in the game quickly enough after their goal and riding the crest of a wave went on to get the winner when Carson over stretched himself trying to stop Fletcher getting a header at the back post and finger tipped the ball into the path of Hooper who drilled it past the defenders on the line for the winner. We had the usual scares late on, Lees heading a hospital back pass to Westwood that got him a kick on the hands as he scrambled the ball away from their player and then we saw the best of Westwood when he got down brilliantly to a back post header that was going in at his feet to claw the ball away.

All in all a job well done with most of the other results going our way. Until I realised that I'm in this quandary where I want to watch us win but I don't want to go through the stress of the playoffs! It's enough to drive you mad, but you've got to love it. Right?

Who? God? Or Theresa May? Or The Trump? Wake me up when it's all over. Assuming we don't all end up in nuclear oblivion before the playoffs!
