Tyson Fury is quite articulate, you wouldn't make him the role model for the nation's youth though.

We have to judge by results. Unfortunately development is going to be central to any hopes we have of success. It does worry me that we just got rid of one thug and if we put it to central casting Guy Branston more likely to get the Vinnie Jones part than the romantic lead. Tattoo the top of his head and he'd have been great in Taboo.

Just been looking at the fixtures. Good Friday looks like it could be the day when we are relegated, unless we can win our remaining 5 games and hope Port Vale, Oldham, Gillingham, Shrewsbury and Swindon struggle in there remaining fixtures which is a long shot!

You are the master of understatement Matt. Its not a long shot its a f**king impossibility.
Tell you what Matt, If we win our last 5 games I will buy you and Blue season tickets for next season. Now that's really something for you to look forward to!

It's not going to happen we've took 7pts from a possible 30 in our last 10 games. We've dropped to many points this season and thrown away points against teams we should have beat. I think if we had kept Wilson I think we could have stayed up because when he came in December 2015 he brought in some very good players in the January transfer Window like Campbell-Ryce and Dimaio. Majority of the games Wilson lost this season were 1-0 or 2-1 now if he had been given till the January transfer window to bring in the right players he could have turned it around but I guess we will never know.

Well we only need Port Vale, Swindon, Shrewsbury and Coventry to lose the rest of their games. Then we need to find a way of gathering points which we haven't looked liked doing since the Hump won his only league game in charge.

What are the odds we'll announce Roy Hodgson has taken over the reins before Saturday?

Yeah Matt, Dancing's right, you cook up a mean understatement.

..and you call me optimistic !
Roll on next season when GC has his own team and a budget that is competitive just like when he was at Wigan.
Dancing youre making big promises dont forget my streaking promise which backfired badly .

I just don't think you should underestimate anything especially in football and sport. Who thought Leicester would win the league or even be in the quarter-finals of the Champions League? Who thought Liverpool would win the Champions League in 2005 after being 3-0 down at HT to Milan? Who thought Barcelona would beat PSG 6-1 after being 4-0 down in the first leg?

Yes we have to be realistic but we can be optimistic too. It might not happen but we can live in hope that we win our 5 remaining games and hope results go our way.

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible!"

No Matt, the word itself doesn't say that! You're suffering from WILL-I-AM syndrome.

But you're right there has to be a streak of optimism in everyone who plays or watches sport. For instance I think we'll beat Port Vale.

Look at Pooch, "a budget that is competitive just like when he was at Wigan," (Wake up Pooch, is DA going to turn into Grandad?)

Wasn't going to comment on that Dev I just assumed Blue had been drinking.
Our budget next year will be one of the highest in Lge2 according to Mr Carson who is well known for lying through his teeth. So assume one of the lowest budgets ever. We still have some biggish earners under contract (Lee, Nolan, Hird, McGinn, Dimao, Dennis) they wont be on peanuts.
I shudder to think what lumps of lard our new finder of talent will recommend. The close season will see that many Spireites slitting their throats that I can see season ticket sales being down by 2,000 at least. There is a strong rumor that ST take up so far is 75% down on the same stage last year. The jitters and player budget reductions will be starting soon.

I can't see us having a big budget next season. The team next season I think will be made up of youth, free transfers and loans.
