THE LAST MATCH

I wasn't able to watch or listen to the last debacle of a performance but from what I saw on here and read elsewhere it would appear that the latest shite we served up was the worst so far this season!!! There really is little else that can be said, but lets hope we have reached the bottom of our particular barrel with regards to performances!!!

THE MATCH - KO SAT 15:00 UK Time

Over the past few years derby games haven't been too good for us so it was nice to see the Dingles and Donny get relegated at the end of last season and the Blunts once again fail to get promoted.  This left us with no derby games (real local ones anyway!!) until FatBoy and his bunch of ToyTown soldiers managed to stun most with a playoff win to give us this game, our one and only true derby!!  Imre was obviously delighted at this due to his love of derby games!!!

Nice to play a team that are almost as bad as us during the last six games, although they do have one win in that time against L**ds.  Not sure it will do us much good, but clutching at straws it is these days!!!

DOWN THE YEARS

Not a lot of history between us and them, mainly because for most of the past century they have been crap and at least one division below us but now that we are both crap we find ourselves meeting them in the league again!!  Our full record against them is P30, W15, D4, L11.

For the video of past games I am posting a recent 3-1 away win in the Capital One cup in 2008!!  This is not me being positive though, its just that our last home win against our near neighbors was back in 1981 and I am sure not going to find a nice video of that game!!!!



Good to see Grant on video in one of his best games for us, like Westwood he kept us in games we should have lost!!!

After our soulless defeat in the last game we dropped another place to 14th in our seemingly never ending slide down the table!!!  Now we have to start looking over our shoulder at the teams below us, so for this game I am including the games involving the three teams that could overtake us on Saturday, plus two other random games!!

No idea what SG is thinking here, although there is no doubt he will continue with the tried and tested formation of 442!!     I suppose he could give Coke another run out as he seemed to do well, but will he persist with the out of form Lee or bring Semedo back in.  Up front is anyones guess, but surely May has to come back in now he is fit!!  Of course there will be at least one change with Drenthe doing his best JJ impression to date, started well, had a couple of good shots and then got sent off!!! Here is my go at what he will pick!!

David Jones has been a naughty boy while out on gardneing leave, apparently he has been whispering "You must play 442 Stuey!!" in SGs ear at night!!!  So he is back in here to serve the rest of his lifetime sentence!!

Wow MS, must be really bad for even you to be that negative before a game!!! Maybe a defeat and a change in manager is the best outcome from this weekend, but I have little faith that even if the team held up their end of the bargain, MM wouldn't and we would still be stuck with SG!!!

Having said that I cannot ever wish for a defeat, so lets I hope we win this and MM still sees sense!!
