Beginning to take the shine off our season. Inflammatory flag waving, bottles being thrown from the stand, now this halftime nonsense. The fact of the matter is that there are only a certain number of genuine football fans in our locality, and when you attract above these numbers, then there will inevitably be a number of idiots within. It's not the young stupid ones. They are just young and stupid. No, it's the ones you see who really should be old enough to know better. Personally I'd ban alcohol at football. Shame, but necessary in my opinion. And if anybody turns up all pissed up then they are refused entry. Hopefully the knobs who broke in and stole the beer from the kiosk at Barnsley will be identified and dealt with accordingly.

We were unlucky to come up against a defence & keeper that literally threw their bodies on the line for the cause.
Brown could have slid the 1 on 1 under the keeper but chanced it to walk round him, Quaner's volley he couldnt have hit it any sweeter, in the past few weeks they've all been going in, yesterday they stayed out.
I travelled up with a mate who is a Barnsley supporter he accepted we were the better team, had been unlucky and the point for a decent Barnsley team was excellent for them. They knocked it around well and lacked the physical presence having sold their 2 front men who provided that side of the game. On the day the results were kind to us, our away support was excellent vocally and in number and apart from the concourse antics upsetting some at ht it was a good away day, keeps our forward motion rolling and another free hit on Wednesday, just a wee bit of pressure with BBC live national coverage to put in a decent performance with those that get given a starting shirt.

So what sparked off the half time trouble? I heard the police had said no more beer, so they stole it. But where were these police when the stealing took place.
Some people say it was just high spirits. Is it something being blown out of proportion?

Theft isn't something blown out of proportion Snoots. Can't wait to hear the furore when we start to get limited ticket allocation for away days. If we are in the same div next season, can only assume there won't be over 4k Town fans at Barnsley!!!
