Terriers v Hobnobs 21/02/2017

We only lost to them last year because of VLP's stupidity and even then we could have nicked something. I think we'll have enough to beat this lot but I'm not making any predictions. Cup final every week now.

We are rewriting the rules on who we haven't beaten for x no of years this season so we are well capable of reverting the hoodoo.

Well, if that doesn't take the biscuit!  Doh  A pretty good night all round - only 5 points behind the top spot, a massive 13 points ahead of 7th place and a bit of daylight between us and the next 3 teams with a game in hand. Life is good.

Just got in to find another excellent 3 points in the bag. Thumb up Apparently we also had our first penalty awarded since Deano was a lad saved too. Bad enough it takes us a season and god knows how long to get one, even worse that we still can't bloody score from them when we do. Still not complaining, we're still irritating the Geordies.

That to me was the best win we've had this season.
I know we've beaten the likes of Newcastle away, Norwich away, Brighton home, and Dirty L666s twice, but that really was a promotion winning game.

Town's rest between games = 3 days
Reading rest between games = 7 days

Town's last opponent = Man City
Reading last opponent = Brentford

Town's points clear of 7th = 13 points (with game in hand)
Reading points clear of 7th = 9 points

When I say promotion winning game, I really mean "play off qualifying intent or even top 2" game.
The rest of the teams in with a shout will definitely be looking at that result, our form, our fitness, our attitude, our desire, and our bloody good football and thinking holy sheeeiiiitttt.

For the first time in my whole life supporting Town (32 years), I now believe we could do it and get promoted.
Who'd have thunk it 2 season's ago!!!!

Don't you just love David Wagner? How many other managers would take personal responsibility for one of his players missing a penalty?
We were unprepared because we never get them!

Jesus H Christ on a bike, that was a hard 90 minutes, felt knackered after that game, but we continue, another 3 brilliant points from the lads, Reading were chasing shadows in the first 20 minutes and Town didn't look like they got out of first gear, stoking the ball around beautifully, though Mooy had a few wayward passes in the second half, Schindler my MOM, Barnsleh next UTT

Another superb performance from the boys. Billing was my man of the match, even before his goal. He just gets better with every match and could even keep Hogg on the sidelines when he's fit. Not that that means anything now with our brilliant manager's rotation policy. have you ever seen a club rotate it's players better than we do now? Every player is interchangeable. Every player can be rested with the full confidence that the player who comes in will do a competent job.

Definitely a three horse race now. Brighton's next two games are Reading and Newcastle, both at home. If they don't take full points from those two, they'll be overtaken. If Newcastle lose down there, I reckon it'll be them. Whatever happens, we'll be catching em.
Then we play Newcastle at home.

Oooh int it exciting! Tongue

Just a great game of football and the win even more sweeter because Reading were a very good football team and unlucky not to come away with a point
