UP FOR SALE - is that news?
#1
So we are officially up for sale at the AGM. We're not on Right Move or Zoopla, so it doesn't look like we're the solution to the housing crisis. Yet.

Who could afford us and why would they? Objectively we're hardly attractive. Even our nice new ground is actually a financial liability.

On the other hand virtually every struggling business is up for sale.

Now we've announced the SALE we need something attractive to put in the window. Like a few wins maybe.

The future starts here Huh

We've been officially up for sale since DA resigned as chairman. Apparently a consortium did make a bid before Xmas but it got turned down. It's not £10 million anymore Pooch its £15 million. Also it sounds like Evans will be sold in the summer.

He'll accept less than that .
Id like to think the new owner will keep Ashley Carson ,he really is trying his best to improve the image of the club.

At £15 mill that means £7.5 mill goodwill. He doesn't stand a cat in hells chance. Best put it on e-bay with my willy warmer. I bet the warmer fetches more.
Not sure about Carson Blue, its amazing all the crap from across the road that's suddenly been brushed under the carpet. Dave Allen and Turner must have been in it up to their necks. They both conveniently side step the AGM where they know they would have been hung out to dry and a very nice man steps in and everything in the gardens rosy?
Even Mr Biggs who was Turners best buddy and supporter has turned round and claimed he was misled on many issues.
Dave Allen has more to answer for than anybody. It all happened on his watch He doesn't deserve to walk away with any profit. He's possibly had some of it away already anyway, its very easy to create a smokescreen and move funds here there and everywhere whilst people are rubbing their eyes, especially when one of your business interests involves large sums of cash. If the development centre did fold last Friday and the rumours are to be believed, there wont be any money to pay any receivers/liquidators so there wont be any nasty questions to be answered - how convenient.

Dancing ,I think even you have to acknowledge that Carson has been so prominent and upfront on social media that even he knows any dishonesty will be exposed for all to see .He isn't like Turner who used to come out and say things knowing full well they weren't true and was constantly found out .

The club will never truly move forward whilst Chris Turner has any power, because self-interest is his motivation. It was as a goalkeeper and it remains so. He may well be a sociopath.

As for Mr Allen, well you don't accumulate millions by being wholly nice and if you choose a sociopath for a sidekick you're giving people a message they might only disregard for a lovely new football ground ..........

Mr Allen effectively tied us to him, gave himself total power over us and now he's grown tired of his plaything. Unfortunately he can't quite find a way to cut us loose to swim free without donning his budgie smugglers. And now that he can't let us drown and was never able to find a way to teach us to swim, he's at a bit of an impasse. As we flounder out of our depth he's demanding a fortune from any potential rescuer .......

As to Mr Carson, he seems a nice man who says the right things, but who would you get to do your PR right now, Bernard Manning?

Now let's see, who'll buy a drowning man?

The only people who I could see buying the club is a wealthy fan or a billionaire from abroad.

Maybe we all need to start buying Euro million tickets and pray.

Kevin Davis was rumoured to be trying to put a bid together with Steve Perez who owns VK, Global Brands and the Casa etc etc. That would be the ideal marriage for me. He's a Chesterfield supporter and doesn't stand any messing around. Would run it like a business and not a plaything.
