A 4-0 'gubbing' of Hearts confirms a new 27 games (domestic matches only) unbeaten record by a Celtic side that hardly played out of 2nd gear and no Dembele, no Armstrong, no Sparky, no Rogic in the team but inspired by a sub called Hendo! Hearts 'misery' completed by a pk 4th goal and their CB, Soutar, stretchered off with what looks like a nasty muscle or tendon pull that looked very painful indeed! Another record broken by Rodgers' team in a league campaign that has been a canter to retain their title!

Thats a very timid and uncreative hertz team, there isn't anything for us particularly to fear in the cup game. I think sevco will beat them comfortably as well. No idea again what cathro was on about after the game, at no stage was the game 'swinging their way'.
For all the talk of dembele, sinclair, griffith etc ...i think their best player is tierney. He's got tremendous pace going forward and he really can cross the ball. His all round game is at some level for a lad his age.

I think Tierney was indeed their MOTM - lotsa energy and commiment and dangerous 'to boot'! As for Cathro's interview? The less said about it the better from his point of view - very unimpressive!

And Celtic enhance their unbeaten domestic record with a 1-0 win v the Dons last night - another Boyata goal wins the game! It looks like the Hoops could set an all-time Scottish footie record for winning a league title at this rate! They could well 'wrap up' the Premiership title as early as mid March - quite an achievement by Rodgers in his 1st season as the Celtic manager! However, IMO it's a poor ad for the reputation of an extremely poor Scottish footie league TBF! Celtic now 25 pts ahead. I predicted at the beginning of the season the deficit would be at least 20 pts based on the very poor general standard of the game up here. That's already been surpassed and it could be >30 pts TBF!

The leagues a joke,Celtic are already playing in a different one to the rest of us. They are essentially an epl style club in all but league. I expect them to qualify for the cl again, sell dembele and proceed straight to ten in a row.

And there's a good possibility they'll sell Dembele for around £35M-£40M with Chelsea at the 'front of the queue' - a good piece of business for Lawwell and it is additional to their CL money!

Exactly. Its a polar opposite of sevcos cheating, tax avoidance and masonic chicanery. You can only acknowledge a "job well done" over their hated rivals.
But where does it leave Scottish fitba?

Scottish footie experiences more of the biggest, unchallenged 'monopoly' that we've ever seen. The duopoly, previously mentioned by edgie, is clearly over! Sadly it makes the game up here very uninteresting and a lotta people in Scotland just look elsewhere to be entertained by better footie teams. Indeed, that type of activity has been predominant for a long time!

Its pish - and your right. But anything is better than the shite of the Scottish championship. I for one cant wait to go to pittodrie, tynecastle and celtic park again on a regular basis.
Another year in the championship would damage hibs seriously, possibly for the next 10 years. Hibs belong in the top flight and although its far from perfect I'd rather be in it.
