That might even have pipped the play-off semi against Bournemouth for excitement.

when you watch town play it looks extraordinary, which it is...but it isnt at the same time. when you boil it down they arent doing anything spectacular they are just doing the fundamentals better than anyone else....get ball, keep ball, find space, pass, move ...repeat. it really is that simple but so hard to do well.

Hughton whining about the red card. Unbelievable!
You were well beaten by that time, mate. And really Bruno should've been off for two yellows in the first five minutes.

I saw hughton saying that the best team won and that they never turned up. Apparently sky were just singing our praises full stop. Something like 23 shots to their 3. Thats against top of the league.

There was just some sort of feeling in the stadium. From the first kick it felt like we had won, or i felt like we had

Just watched it thru again - just as good as the first time. We won't be flying under the radar for long with a few more performances like that. Hope the BBC and BT wally's that pick the TV Cup games were watching.

That performance....especially the first half was one of the best I've ever seen. Stunning.
I am really struggling to think of a better 45 mins Town have ever played.
All my mates were blown away with how well we played. Every single player deserved at least a 9 out of 10, with Mooy, Hogg, and Brown getting 10's for me.

And you're right Snoots...Bruno should have been off after 5 mins. If he hadn't already been on a yellow, that second challenge would have got him one.
My only slight criticism of last night was that we didn't attack down Bruno's side more when we knew he was on a yellow and his next challenge surely would have seen him sent off.
As it was, we battered them with 11 men.

My worry now for Sunday is that the pub team down the road have had an extra day off to prepare for the game. We might be slightly heavy legged....especially after that performance.

What a time to be a Town supporter though.!!!

Can't argue with that SHEP. Think Wagbo has shown he can rotate the squad and still get a performance from the side regardless of whoever he leaves out with heavy legs and a few niggles from last night. Fair to say that Deano also let a few more moths loose in January as promised, with Izzy Brown already getting Player of the Month and the big fella Quaner offering another option up front that L666s (and us) haven't had time to properly assess yet on a decent pitch.

I've always said that the best Town performance that I've seen in my nearly 50 years watching was the 4-2 win over West Ham in the Cup way back in 1972.
Last night bettered that. Smile
