I assume you mean every Town player ritchie.......otherwise it might cost you a few bob at the end of the season.

Calm down, Shep!!! I'm Scottish, no sense in throwing money away.

OK here's my promised baseball curve ball, slider and change-up. I never could throw a fast ball. Smile

Same as last season - £5 if Toronto Blue Jays make the end of season play-off's. £1 for every Home Run they hit in the play-off's or £5 if it is a bases loaded Home Run (4 runs off one hit). To be clear, £0 for any other runs that score .... just Home Runs count. Scores and stats as posted on www.MLB.com will be used to verify results.

If by some fluke this takes me to my personal £40 target I'm bailing out. Think I'll be in for the long run though with Mr. Lolley hitting everything but the back of the net so far.

I was sat in my favourite bar in Canada when the Jays scored the winning run to confirm qualification so that's the first 5'er in the pot. A tad academic as Detroit blew their chance anyway but who cares about that?

Wild Card Game
It took 11 innings for the deciding runs against the Orioles but the 3 run dinger sets up a return series against the Rangers.

Flippin' 'eck. They didn't like losing last season, especially when Bautista celebrated hitting another 3 run dinger in a rather casual style. (About 2:30 in if you can't wait).

ALDS Game 1
Well the Rangers fans came out booing Bautista and many went home early, booing and blubbing into their hankies after the Jays bats lit up the park, knocking in 10 runs including 2 homers in the first ALDS play-off game.

ALDS Game 2
Four home runs, 3 in the 5th innings were enough to see the Jays home in this game which was a bit more of a nail biter. Rangers have still only won one home play-off match in umpteen attempts.

ALDS Game 3

Nip and tuck in this one but the Jays win the game in 10th innings and the series 3-0 to beat Texas again. 3-1 up in the first, 5-2 up in the the third, the Blow Jays let Rangers score 2 in the 4th and 6th to lead 5-6. The Jays knocked in the tying run in the 6th and the final run in the 1st extra innings.  Next up, the winners of Cleveland and Boston.

Oh yeh! Happy Thanksgiving to all our readers from over here in Canada.

The Jays will play the Cleveland Indians in the American League Championship Series. Cleveland swept Boston as the Jays had swept Texas. £15 so far in the kitty with hopefully more to come.
The Indians used to use Chief Wahoo as their logo but this has now mostly been changed to a large capital C.

ALCS Game 1
A 2 run dinger in the 6th was all that separated two closely matched teams in the opener. Despite having runners on base in all of the first 4 innings, the Jays bats couldn't fire when most needed.

ALCS Game 2
Another nip and tuck game that was decided on a single run this time. Cleveland go to Toronto for the next three games with a 2-0 lead.

ALCS Game 3
A few more runs in this one and another £1 in the kitty but as a result the Jays can't afford to lose now or their days on the winter golf courses of Florida will be extended somewhat.

ALCS Game 4
Put the brooms away. Josh Donaldson homered and Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run single as the Blue Jays extended the series with a 5-1 victory over the Indians on Tuesday. The Jays still need to win the next 3 to stay in this.

ALCS Game 5
The Jays are free to hit balls on the golf courses of Florida until next season's Spring Training. A few will be looking for a new employer as the oldest team in the division will no doubt get retooled next season. A wimpy 3-0 loss at home was even worse than Town at Preston.

With Lolley crocked until at least the New Year I'm throwing a sub in there. £1 per goal from Van the Man (including the one he already scored). I'll play both of them when Lolley comes back.

Seeing as Hoggy's out for the rest of the season, I'll replace him with his replacement on Friday night and pay a fiver for any Billing goals from now up until the end of the season.
