Sheffield Utd on loan till the end of the season.
When he was on form he was terrific but that only ever happened every full moon.
Hopefully we will get somebody who gets stuck in and can head the ball!

Why would we send a player on loan to our rivals in the same league as us?

Because he wont improve them and we will not be weaker without him when GC brings in his targets

I stopped thinking he was a non-trier. I decided he just couldn't help it. When things fell into place he could make it happen, but if they didn't ......... I reckon he's kind of the flip side of Joey Barton who goes out of his way to make something happen.

Sheffield Utd are our rivals only in our dreams. If Jay could improve them in every game against teams in the bottom third he'd be doing us a huge favour. As he won't be able to play against us it has to be a good thing to give him to a team who'll be playing our genuine rivals .... though improving Rochdale or Southend might be better.

Unfortunately, if he really can't control his frequent losses of form, Jay won't be getting many games at the Lane.

Let's hope GC doesn't bring in a defensive midfielder Bradford City want to ditch.

Its official now.
Just noticed the youth team won 9-0 against Lincoln on Saturday. Looks like I went to the wrong match.

If we keep selling players at this rate we will have to put out the youth team Dancing.

Would that be a bad thing? Perhaps we are grooming them for next season.

By the way that 0-9 Junior away win turns round a 2-6 defeat against Lincoln at home.

Dancing, as there's no game on Saturday perhaps you'd like to see the Juniors play Grimsby who they should beat.

Wouldn't be a bad thing but we're in a relegation battle.

So the question to you Matt is has Jay O'Shea ever struck you as a relegation battler?

It has seemed that we have come to rely on Jay's good performances to win games and as he seems to be at a level of a good one in every 4 or 5 .......... that's relegation.

And I won't even mention the effect on The Blunts of introducing two new players to the crowd last night. I'm not one for if it ain't broke don't fix it, but last night's result didn't suggest new signings had done a whole lot for team spirit.

I'm not optimistic. I think Mr Caldwell has a very tough job to save us. Even if we crash disastrously to the end of the season my opinion is that we have gone with him, he tried to do something pretty impossible, we need to stick with him for next season and see what he can create.

Doesn't bringing in players through the window seem like bringing them in the wrong entrance?
