Annoyed .. here's why ..
read my earlier post !!
1 dimensional,
no passion,
little talent (apart from Westwood)
Happy with a draw ??(really)
shit subs
shit team selection
some fans with rose tinted glassed
No other T*at would have taken the job ... Hmmm, he had to wait, was that because he was waiting for Barca to offer him a 10 year contract , he took it because it was a step up for a COACH !!
.. we were xxxx shite today , 1st goal in 4 games, then we can't hold onto the lead, and whatever you think of Charltons record, just a small London club, read my earlier post .. than THINK about being a Wednesday fan, what you actually WANT, not what you will settle for, because if you are honest about what you want , you will realise you are happy to settle for less .. would you do that in your own business, I won't , and the same principle applies, MM loves fans that will be happy with mediocre, you pay his bills, c'mon Wednesday fans, expect, WANT, D E M A N D more .. otherwise we are all going to suffer this shit for another 10 years, be like Udders, win against forest and the seem to think they are a football team again ..FFS !!!
SCO, please remove my login , etc from this site, too sterile for my tastes nowdays , and the chosen few get offended ONLY when it suits, not liking the double standards now, good luck guys, and thanks SCO for your efforts both on here and on New 606

Wereham... I am a total and complete Wednesdayite. I watched them when we were a top 5-10 Prem side and then the next 20 years!! I would love to see them back 'where we belong' BUT sadly as a club, due to mismanagement and bad accountancy we have suffered for many years. MM saved us. We were about to imploded. Going bankrupt would have not helped us, we would not suddenly burst from the flames of despair like a phoenix. We are where we are.. and to expect us to roll over teams that have consistency and great home form is madness. We are MASSIVE in our eyes and could.. and hopefully will be again. We can't simply expect victories.. we have to earn them. SG may not be the man... but as I tried to explain.. many managers wouldn't have touched us because we have no hard cash to spend. SG has settled the squad. 2 or 3 wins would see us back in the mix. MM is not going to panic at this moment. So ... Imre, Wareham et al... think where we were 12 months ago.. we ARE better off... We ALL want more BUT realistically we are going to have to wait a while longer. As long as we don't slip too much further down the league SG will remain as MM will not sack and replace with any better. We Do need to score more... that will be SG downfall if the draws continue for much longer as points don't keep you in the top half. UTO

Wereham, even if I could remove your login I wouldn't!!
I love your passion and everything you wish for I think we all do!! All of us except for young Thurny remember the 80's and 90's when we had a team to be proud of but us fans even back then demanded more, we wanted the title, we wanted cup wins and we wanted european football, and chasing that dream even then nearly destroyed the club!! Now sure it wasn't the dream that nearly sent us under, it was the way we chased it and the management the club had at the time!! MM came in and we are on an even keel, but unfortunately in the 20 odd years since we were a decent team football has gone through a revolution and left us behind!! We lost approx 4m pounds last season and that in itself puts us right up against sanctions under FFP, without investment there is not much else we can do!!
Forest signed Tom Ince yesterday on loan, now there is a player I would want to see at S6 but they are paying 17k a week to have him, we cannot afford that!! So who would you have played today, who would you like to see us bring in, don't run away from the debate, thats what the forum is for!!! So come on lets have the debate but expect that some will not share your views but I think we all share your dreams!!

Let's get some level of perspective.
Don't be fooled by Charlton's home record, they are a poor side. Winning the first three has given them a better record than they deserve. They have the worst possession stats in the division and wins have turned into draws and draws into defeats. Believe me, Charlton will be nearer the bottom than the top soon enough. So will we, unless changes are made.
First half, we dominated. Drenthe was outstanding and always gave us a chance. He nearly scored, he scored our goal, created chances for others and led their defence a merry dance until they double marked him in the second half. Unfortunately, others could not take advantage.
Yet again, we gave away points after leading (Millwall, Ipswich, Leeds etc.). Our style of play means our players waste energy chasing lost causes so we are slower & caught out of position late on in matches. We are the only team in the country not to win a point from behind yet this season.
If Maguire had taken his one on one chance with the keeper, we win. We also put several other good balls into the box but our strikers were rarely in position to take advantage & when chances came Nuhui's way, he fluffed them.
Westwood - 7 - a couple of saves
Palmer - 6 - solid, if unspectacular
Lees - 6 - quality
Loovens - 6 - led well but went missing once
Mattock - 6 - another injury
Drenthe - 8 - a spark who led their defence a merry dance
Semedo - 5 - gave the ball away too much
Helan - 6 - pacy
Maghoma - 5 - never really in it
Maguire - 5 - missed his chance
Nuhui - 6 - looked good until in box, set up Maguire chance
.....................................................................
Dielna - 6
Coke - 5
GTF - 5
At last, Drenthe got a start & to great effect. He set the platform for victory but we couldn't finish it off. We started 4231 and looked good but reverted to SG's preferred 442 in the second half. Dielna did ok but Coke & GTF added nothing.
Nuhui played well but doesn't get into the box quickly enough and when chances came, he couldn't take them. We missed May's runs, which cause defenders so many problems, particularly when we are winning.
This was a match that was there for the taking but we threw it away. Bournemouth will be tougher on Tuesday. Our tactics & team selections are costing us points. We are sliding towards relegation and MM has a big decision to make soon. Every week, SG compares our position to where we were a year ago. We shouldn't use our worst ever start as the benchmark. That is the stuff of losers.
The frustrating thing is, we are not a million miles from being a top six side but it won't happen with SG in charge.
On the good news front, Madine was outstanding for Coventry yesterday, creating one of their goals. Maybe he will come back full of confidence ready to rip this division up. Maybe he would finish of Drenthe's crosses like he did BM10's.
Or maybe not!
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
