At bloody last a league win and already my mood is lifted.
There were times when I was swearing at the radio but give credit to Wilson and the players for a terrific win.
Its a very risky tactic that Wilson plays, soaking up the the pressure and hitting on the break but it paid off tonight and lets enjoy it while we can .

I would not have believed you could win many games with so little possession if Leicester had not demonstrated it last season. Indeed they looked in control of the game even without the ball.

I'm not sure three at the back is intended to function in quite this way, but a win's a win and Bristol did lose 5-1 at home to a team who took nearly 90 minutes to score against us ........ And Oldham have a transfer ban, Shrewsbury are playing crap and Coventry fans are more concerned with ownership than staying up and Charlton must be due to appoint a new manager to stop them winning ........... We're not the only xxxx-up.

I still think Danny's on random select as regards the team - another change of keeper .... Beesley up front ...... Dennis benched. I can't remember us looking so weak on paper. But none of this is the issue. Survival as a club is the issue; being here tomorrow and next season too. A lot sport is played inside the head, sometimes a win of any kind makes a big difference. Look at Pooch, he's taking Danny out for a drink tonight in Old Brampton.

Even better when winning at Franchise
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

If he keeps us up I might buy him half of bitter.
I was just going to use the Leicester comparison Dev but you got there first.I will add it takes a fit team to play that way .

Pooch mate, I know Danny's not a big bloke ....... but a half? I'm sure you could run to a pint. Take him to the club instead - Bob Newton'll do you a pint.

My Leicester comparison is okay, but it is hard to deliberately succeed that way. You can plan to play on breaks, but combining the resilience, belief and yes fitness and speed to succeed all the time is an almost magical process. You need the right players with their heads in the right place, otherwise the constant pressure eventually engulfs them.

Im a bit wary of Ashley Carsons tweet that we will get over 6500 home fans Saturday .Ive just has a look at the online ticketing and I reckon we've sold about 5400 to date .If he is wrong on this it will be wholly embarrassing for him .I just hope Im wrong.

Depends how many away tickets they've sold as well. Can't see 1,000 Bristol Rovers supporters going to tomorrows game.
