MS was the voice of reason as far as i was concerned. Insightful, rational, thoughtful and considered. Haven't posted on here in ages but have kept on reading most things. A sad loss. RIP Steve. x

First time i could log on this weekend and this is the first thing I saw. Came to have a moan about wrdnesday but that is so insignificant at a time like this.
Spoke with Steve on here and the old site for a good 3/4 years. This news is absolutely terrible. His knowledge of Wednesday, football and pretty much everything was absolutely spot on.
We've become like a real family on here. Don't always agree, sometimes gets heated but wouldn't change any of it for anything.
Absolutely horrible news. Too young. I'm in tears.

I have been away with no internet available so this is the first time I have read this.It is very sad news indeed and I offer my condolences to Steves loved ones. I also never met Steve but felt that I knew him through this site and know that he was true Wednesday fan.
His fantastic match reports will be sorely missed as they were a true and honest opinion.
Lets hope for 3 points today in his honour.
RIP Steve.
Nothing changes,again.

Forgot to mention it earlier but it was good to see Steve get a mention and tribute on The Wednesday Week podcast last week as well. Particular mention was made of his match reports and his stats, something we all knew were better than anyone else's!!

I've been away a bit and otherwise entertained of late and only just heard. Gutted.
Deepest sympathy to all who knew Madsteve in real life or the cyberworld. Always looked forward to his match reports.
