So this week we take on a team that have one of the longest serving managers in English football, and one that certainly holds nothing back nor sugar coats how he feels. Mick MacCarthy has been Ipswich manager for exactly 4 years yesterday, a pretty sad indictment of the managerial merry go round that he is the longest serving Championship manager!!!

This will be the 48th meeting between us with an even record of W17 D12 L18 but our home record is terrible!! In the last 10 home games against them the record is a paltry W1 D5 L4 and we haven't beaten them since 2007. It is improving slightly though as the last 4 have been draws, but we are way overdue for a win!!

Last season saw us get a draw with Forestieri getting our goal before they equalized in the 2nd half:

A gamee we should have won or a result we should have seen coming?? I'll let you decide which one. We should have had a penalty at 0-0 and that would have changed the game completely!! But we didn't and we got punished further by Derby!! Nuff said!!
