Been watching the match and they are atrocious, Benteke looks a shadow of the player he was before the injury and if we think we lack a creative spark they are 10 times worse off. Spurs, Newcastle and Southampton are their next three so they could conceivably lose all three. I think Vlaar will be off in January and I can see them being right down there come the end of the season.

P*ssed me off as well as I had 1-1 in the prediction league Laugh

It's just been pointed out to me that Leeds and Watford have had 5 managers between them since Villa last scored!
So sad to see such a big club (c 1890) fall on hard times.......well maybe not.

We can, unfortunately, expect the following of Aston Villa this season (and every season):

1. They'll play like spavined donkeys in every single match with the predictable exception of the two against us, in which every bang-average player they have will suddenly - and entirely temporarily - discover how to dribble the ball like Messi and find the corner of the net from twenty-five yards.

2. When things are starting to look desperate, they'll face the league's form team or title challengers, get absolutely bossed in every area of the pitch for ninety minutes, weather an all-out shooting gallery with around 10% possession, and come away with a 1-0 win.

3. They'll do this enough times to stagger over forty points.

4. We'll spend the summer hearing that only a top four place is good enough for Aston Villa, and Lambert needs to go/Randy needs to sell/the club needs to invest more money into pioneering time travel to 1982.

Bring back Deadly Doug. He invented the scissor-kick, you know. Oh, and he doesn't like talking about it much, but he almost single-handedly won WW2. How come this Great man has never even been knighted, let alone given a seat in the House of Lords?
He was on purring terms with M.Thatcher, as well.

Another fine attacking performance from the kings of the midlands, they have now managed 17 shots on target in 9 matches, 4 of them have even gone in .............. oh how I hate being in the shadow of the mighty European champions that grace the top flight and dominate midlands football. Now where did I parked my de lorean, I need to see doc brown to get me back to the future ...... the future is bright the future is blue and white ................ it's time we went seal clubbing again, lets hope the vile swap places with the dingles and disappear without trace up their own self important out of date backsides. Lets bring back the premier league derby day black country demolitions of the wo1ve5.

I must admit, the Vile have been very quiet on the facebook/forum front! After 4 games they were rekindling the spirit of 82 and challenging the top 4! Now its throw anything that's heavy overboard cos were going down cap'n! Big Grin

F****** hate the Villa and their fickle fans!! Angry When were doing well were happy and thankful, when were doing badly were still talking and not trying to live on former glories, scarce they may'be! Such a classless bunch of __________ fill in the gaps!
