He said "never ever" fill the stadium to capacity,we have though and we have the potential to do so. Think that's all he's saying.

Its like hertz endless home sellouts...then you see the empty seats on the telly. It doesn't mean anything.

Hooray!!!!! Thumb up Thumb up Somebody who has read and interpreted the theme of the OP and not tried to distort it with a 'virtual insinuation' that was pish to begin with and clearly someone trying to 'pounce' on one line in a multi-lined post, misinterpreting it and reverting to a 'virtual fall back position/jibe' that Hibs don't regularly sell out their fully modernised stadium - it was never inferred in the OP anyway and it wouldn't be because I attend matches at ER and have been doing so, on and off, back to the year dot!!! I won't bother emphasising that condemnation any further!! You've done it for me Jim and perceived that we do indeed have the 'potential' to grow our home attending support. I think the current Scottish Cup tour is a cute ploy by Hibs management to cover lotsa schools and local communities in Leith/Embro and beyond to share our success - a proactive way to draw in new fans! The 'pulling benefit' will not be evident now but it's a good way of 'sparking' an interest and eventually drawing in potential new generations of fans and subsequently increasing attendances at a modern footie stadium that is one of the best in Scotland!

Fred you've gotta remember that selling out Easter Rd is going to a massive ask this season the HFC areas are almost fill every week but the away end your lucky if the away team bring 1000 fans with them.

When HFC go on to win the league Easter Rd will be like Tynie next season almost selling out every week I think. The fans are coming back to watch HFC in great numbers last week we took almost 4000 to Dunfermline no other team in the championship can carry that support.

That's a good point hfcb and also remember that many 'latent' Hibs fans do occasionally miss out on matches because of the limited choice of seat locations at the 'tail end' of home ticket sales.
PS: I'm sure tonight's negative Hearts score line from Rugby Park will keep Fredster and his support buddy from Inverurie more occupied than being involved in a trivial negative debate re Hibs ground capacity lol Laugh

Sorry Fredster - it's just a wee bit of banter that I couldn't resist adding in ! Wink I didn't realise Hearts were active tonight until I listened to a 'score flash' from Rugby Park on bbc radio Sportsound! Disappointing is an understatement from any Hearts fan's perspective!
