Steven Reid was the midfield/defender good enough to make the Decade XI.
Reuben was the promising striker who did well enough in the lower League, esp with Argyle and Exeter. (Very popular @ Argyle, where he started his career).

Can't seem to find a team sheet for that Bolton match, but the opening goalscorer was definitely Jerome Thomas, and I'd be amazed if we had Reuben Reid on the pitch at all; he only ever made cameo appearances in cup games as far as I recall, and left after a couple of years.
I stand corrected guys; and was it really 8 years ago that I last went to a home game,
I certainly remember the walk to and from the railway station; took me ages and was very painful for me.
Ah well just have to blame a failing memory on rapidly advancing years. I do remember Long's winner as he jumped for a high cross and headed home. A good header of a ball considering he was not the tallest player around.
Some consolation is that on 3rd January next I will have supported the lads for 60 years.
My favourite player, as said before, Bobby Hope.
