Really rate him personally, we have seen Hiddink, Van Gaal, Advocaat even Koeman around for years and glad a few younger names are started to slowly make a mark
De Boer played some excellent football at Ajax and brought through plenty of excellent young players, as usual lots get sold off at big profit each year
Inter Milan expected too much, player power and too many old heads the jump maybe was too soon
Crystal Palace was a joke, De Boer was a better Fall Guy than Lee Majors
But Rangers??
No!
Huge expectations and probably less time to make it a success than the Palace post
Trying to instill glorious passing football was hard enough at Palace at Rangers it would take much longer
Nor do Rangers have the money to buy say four players to build a team round, say a bit of silk to go with the steel
Go to Germany Frank and build your rep back there
