We advanced to the fifth round of the cup as we took our chances against Reading. Matias put in a MOTM performance and deserved to get on the score-sheet. It was Nuhiu who took his chances for a change. Reading did also have some chances but Dawson made several good saves. Pelupessy made his debut but got an early yellow thanks to Loovens attempting a suicide pass, but did OK for his debut. Onto the fifth round.

Back to the league and we make the trip up to Middlesbrough. Boro now have a new manager in charge in Pulis and seem to be playing better away from home having lost three of there last four games at home in the league & cup (there only win coming @ home v Sunderland). We are unbeaten under Jos and although we need wins I would be happy with a point with Birmingham coming up at Hillsborough on Saturday.

Couple of notes from today's presser:

Barry Bannan trained on Saturday for the first time and he will also be involved in today's session. Tom Lees will train on Wednesday.
Jos Luhukay has confirmed Keiren Westwood is back in training. Has trained "two or three times" with the first-team and will join in the session today

For me pudil has to get the job of center in the backline with thorniley a vennesa alongside! Wallace will boyds place and joao will partner bob like it or not? Id play matiass instead of wallace and stick rhodes upfront with joao... But i cant see that happening!
