Hibs v Ross County, Sat 23 Dec, KO 3.00pm

I think this is one of the most important fixtures of the season for Hibs mainly because we are recovering from an awful SFA fixture listing that lined us up against Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen - we played very well in two of these fixtures but only ended up with one point from nine!! A sickener! Now the challenge is to quickly regroup and beat the Staggies - no draw, no defeat, we need to win this and re-assert our momentum during a month when we've actually been playing well! This game should draw a good, holiday crowd to ER Stadium and I think Lenny must demand a positive reaction from the Hibs players who start this match that is preceding a 'double header' v Hearts who have not beaten us for quite a while and I wanna see that position maintained by Hibs!! We have not suddenly become a bad side but Lenny has to instil some 'home truths' re player commitments etc and also decide on what is our best team to push on from a horrible away performance at Pittodrie. Is David Gray ready to return to the line up? Is Darren Mac not quite ready/match fit to take up the challenge? Is Rocky gonna be the goalie to continue 'between the sticks'? Decisions have to be made to fathom what our most durable and effective side should be!! We need to avoid a January loss of form that we've seen in many a season before now and more importantly avoid losing to a Hearts side that I do not regard as being that good anyway in spite of their confidence boost v a 'rare' poor-performing Celtic side!!!

We played the best fitba i've seen a hibs team play in yonks against rangers and got nothing. So i'd settle for being pish and getting the 3 points the day.

We were absolutely atrocious last week and rightly pumped. But the team looked like the effects of those intense games with the glasgow sides had taken its toll!

A vital 3 points the day with stokesy 'pulling the strings' and playing in a partnership with young shaw. We really should have scored more goals though and once again the defence got caught with countys only real opening....It's been going on all season right enough,i should be used to it by now.

Next stop, a visit to the all new PBS to face potters galacticos.

This was a good result with Stokesy at the forefront of Hibs positive forays into the Staggies defence. How did he only score one goal in the 1st half of this match??? He could have scored three or four goals on a better day!!! Well done to young Shaw in ensuring we got the important 3 pts!! Thumb up So that is 3 pts gained on Rangers and two more pts up on Hearts - it is a good time to visit the PBS in such a decent position!

Missed the game yesterday but very pleased we fought back and got the win. This team seem to have an ability to keep going, I`m sure that comes from Lenny and his time with Celtic.
Agree with hibeejim21 if they don`t score first we might just sneak all 3 points but I would take a draw right now.
