THROW THE BOOK AT HIM
#1
Out of all the dives in all world ......... Past mid-October and the first player charged with a simulation fooling the ref' is in Div 2. Not a top Premier player barely able to stay on his feet, not a Championship man keen to get to the top, not even a clever bugger in Division 1, no it's a 30 year-old, pretty much unknown playing for Carlisle in a 3-3 draw. Let's not go after the men every child tries to copy, let's find someone genuinely obscure. Let's throw the book at him!

More heart-warming news was that when Plymouth's third choice got injured the other night they brought on 18 year-old Michael Cooper for his debut, who had only played SW Peninsula League before. And he did the business. Sadly, bottom of their division and without a keeper who has done better than Michael, they're looking to replace him with an experienced emergency loan for Saturday. No prizes for guessing my reaction - let the boy play and win you a game! He's big enough, see if he can make himself good enough.
