Roy Carroll grabs a point for Notts
#1
Well what can I say the first half was so dire, We just didn't seem with it or awake. Notts put us under the kosh a lot in the opening few minutes and we allowed them to score because 1. We made a mistake by giving them a corner 2. We allowed there player to take a shot from outside the area and no one closed him down. What really annoyed me was when we got the ball we were punting it up field all the time and Darikwa had so much space down the right hand side and we weren't using it we were all pushed up into the left hand side of the pitch. 2nd half I thought we played so much better and we could have had 3,4 or even 5 if it wasn't for Roy Carroll he kept them in the game and pulled off some tremendous saves. We've fallen behind in a game 4 times in a row which is frustrating. I thought the referee was abysmal and probably one of the worst referee's I have ever seen he just couldn't control the game. Notts were so dirty they were shirt pulling, wasting time and diving when they hadn't been touched.

I think we are missing key players like Morsy, Roberts and Jones and hopefully we get them back in the side for the Blades match. Daniel Johnson what a player we need to sign him if Villa let him go, he works hard, very skilful and if he loses the ball he'll win it back.

It doesn't sound as though Villa are likely to let Johnson go, from the reports you give of him. If they cave in to pressure to sell Fabian Delph that might even produce a premiership opening for him ......

Clean sheet for Chapman .........

Thought our side looked unbalanced on paper with the absentees, glad to see Gardner getting on though.

Gardner made a big impact he is such a good player if we can keep him injury free will be a big asset for us.
For the 4th game in a row we have started sluggishly and we need to try and start on the front foot
Also our last 4 games have a goals for of 4,3,2,1......Hope that sequence doesnt continue against yooooonited.

Oh Pooch what a depressing stat .......

We are obviously just resting Morsy, Roberts and Jones. Gardner has been carefully brought to his peak for the big game. It may all be coming together.

Was Margreitter the first Austrian ever to score for Chesterfield. With him Gnanduillet and Evatt at corners we ought to be difficult to handle.
