A few years ago there was the drive for an extended international build up to make us more competitive. I couldn't give a chuff whether England win lose or draw nowadays. The extended build up hasn't improved us and we'd be no worse off than turning up on the day and the gaffer deciding who was playing. You don't coach these international players so all the manager has to do is decide who is in form and who isn't and then let them play. All these bloody training sessions and we see the same old dross game after game. We had an exciting line up yesterday but seriously, did any of them scare Malta? Did Walcott go past the fullback? We ended up playing with 10 Ray Wilkins. Tippy tappy, pop the ball up in the air, square, square, square. That's what the extended break gives us.
Stop the international breaks.....they're ruining Saturdays.
