A week today, this afternoon, Hibs Scottish Cup fortunes finally changed....

....for the better and we lifted the Holy Grail in an epic comeback victory that will live in the memories of all hibees for a long time!! Thumb up  I must say this afternoon I did briefly reflect back to that fantastic last 8 mins when all our demons in the Scottish Cup were exorcised by 11 heroes who never gave it up! Indeed there were a few pubs near ER that hosted parties this afternoon to celebrate the moment when it all unfolded and a historic feat was observed by one n all - cheers Hibs and it feels like a surreal moment in time but it definitely happened in such dramatic circumstances!

Are you trying to tell us it really happened??? Laugh An absolutely brilliant dominant finish from the Hibees heroes. It's still very fresh in my mind and after watching it on Sky last week, I watched it on BBC today.

Neither side is that good defending set plays, but sevco took nearly all of their efforts short which was just mental and a sign of poor coaching. Why Warburton replaced zelalem with dean shiels was a bizarre decision that played right into our hands. Of course warbiola has gone all lord lucan on us since but he really should be facing more questions about his tactics on last Saturday. They were way too overconfident.

For all the talk of a busy schedule i think it helped us in the end. Barring some dreadful reffing and bad luck v Falkirk i think we may well have gone up to.

Me and some of the guys where talking about that fact jim. We all agree the best thing that happened was losing out to Falkirk as much as it hurts to say that we feel the week break for the hibs squad to rest and get their heads sorted out and focus on the Scottish Cup Final helped us win the HOLY GRAIL.

IMO if we had beat Falkirk then we would have played killie on the tues night we might not have had the strength to come back at rankers.

Only mY thoughts guys ......... Happy Anniversary to all hibbies here
