Thirty seven shots in the last two matches and no goals. I think we're all agreed our fitness levels are now up to scratch, so should we now be having a bit more target practice?

We came up well short today, as I expected, against a quality team, but hoped, 2nd half in particular we could have done a lot more than just make up the numbers.

We started brightly good movement but either shot wide, didnt shoot or over played it and after 15 mis Derby realised and took control and coasted to an easy 3 points.

Deano was mopping up a lot, Pato our best player always running at them, I've decided neither Husband nor the Aussie are any good at left back and striker alongside Wells is top priority.

We filled the blocks they sheeted off so maybe similar numbers to Forest 1200 or so, 2nd half was subdued as the performance offered little to shout about.

Lets see if we can bounce back V Reading the rest of the results not going our way so see how we respond in a game we should and need to do better with a tough run of games on the horizon and just 7 points between the drop now.

Players seem to have bought into the system and it would seem some will be back for selection very soon. Derby has always been a desert [or a mud heap] for us. We'll keep the faith.

Can you imagine what a striker of Rhodes quality would do with that many chances??  Saw him score 4 goals at Hillsborough in that crazy 4-4 draw without doing anything else that day.  Wagner seems to have you playing good attacking football, but you seem desperately short of a quality striker to take advantage of it.  You are just about safe, get a good striker and who knows what you can achieve.

We've got a good striker in Nahki Wells. What we need is one who's that step further up the quality ladder. And they cost about £8m these days.

Nowt much to add to what sloppy or the BBC report had to say about the game.

Given the millions they have spent they weren't that much better than us. They are in the play-off places, not because they score more goals than us (it's now 3 more in the league) but because they are tighter in defense - 16 less than us. Our final pass was either poor or we took one stride too many to get a shot away.

Been there, done that, didn't see a single ball of cricket though. Some days were good but most were asswiping bad. Dehli belly and Bombay bum barely describe it.

Anyway - back to the game - I thought the "what a waste of money" chants aimed at Butterfield were totally out of order. Some Town fans just can't help being dumb.
