I wish I was Dancing.

Didn't even know we had signed a player on loan.

Rumour has it though that Lavery wanted to come back on loan but his contract is up at the end of the season and Sheffield Wednesday won't let him leave till he signs a new one.

Matt, get a grip! We rely on you for this information, you are supposed to be there first!

Why would Wednesday want Lavery to sign another contract?. They clearly don't want him. And if Lavery signs a contract another club'll have a choice of buying him, or waiting till Wednesday loan him out again because everyone knows he's not good enough .......... So no one will buy him because they know Wednesday always loan him out. Wednesday have painted themselves into a corner on this one.

Does seem a little odd. Maybe Wednesday would rather let him go for a fee instead of leaving on a free.

Lavery will leave at the end of the season I would imagine, he is unlikely to break into the squad for us.

I haven't seen or heard anything about him being offered a contract but we have seen a lot of players signing extensions to their existing contracts so you never know.  Most of these have been first team squad members though and I do not see Lavery being in that category.

I would imagine he will leave as well because he'll want first team football and not being loaned every season.
