Former Crystal Palace first-team coach Ben Garner has joined the backroom team at West Bromwich Albion.
Garner, 34, spent 10 years with the Eagles as a coach, managing at several youth team levels before being appointed first team coach during the 2012-13 season.
However, he left the club in the summer after Alan Pardew decided to bring his own man in, with John Salako eventually replacing him.
Garner was offered a role in the club’s academy set-up, but declined the offer in order to continue showing his credentials as a first-team coach, and has previously spoken of his desire to become a manager one day.
Now he rejoins former Palace boss Tony Pulis to take up the role of first-team coach at West Brom, who lost 2-0 at Selhurst Park last Saturday thanks to goals from Yannick Bolasie and Yohan Cabaye.
