Twerton 12
A.A.A. 11
Themaclad 8
Amelia 7
Zinman 6
Minizin 1
Seems we are getting back into the sort of scoring averages we saw last season!! At least Zinman seems to be back in pre-season training finally!! Twerton once again tops the table, this time with a solid 12 points, he managed one of only 2 CSs this week and backed that up with a CR on the Bonus. AAA keeps up his good start with 11 points, he was one of only two players with positive points on the Gamball. Early league leader Themaclad is 3rd with 8 points, he also got a CR on the Bonus but not much else.
Amelia is 4th with 7 points, she was the other one who got the CR on the Gamball but couldn’t back that up with many other points. Zinman finally gets off the bottom rung in the weekly scoring with 6 points and is replaced with this weeks wooden spoon by Minizin with a miserable 1 point.
33 Themaclad
29 Twerton
28 A.A.A.
24 Minizin
21 Amelia
11 Zinman
Themaclad retains his lead but the chasing packs has all closed up. Twerton is now 2nd, a point ahead of AAA with Minizin the big faller this week in 4th. Amelia is still in touch in 5th spot and still has a healthy lead of 10 points over Zinman who is still bring up the rear.
Group B
BaggieOne 16pts
Lady Jane 13
BBB 12
Snooty 10
Stairs 8
SCO 7
Derby 7
Correct scores were scarce in a week that saw the highest number of correct result predictions - complete opposite to last week but overall scoring was at similar levels. the Oxford game proved to be this week's hardest pick with just one correct result and blowing 2 bonuses - this was my original pick for the gamball game, so the week could have been much worse.
BaggieOne sits on top this week tahnks to a full set of balls and 2 correct scores. Lady Jane's good start to the season continues with a decent 13 point return and a good ball return - she has scored on every gamball so far which may just explain her early season lead. BBB takes 3rd place with a week's high of 6 correct results though he was unable to turn asny of them into correct scores and was one of just 2 players to miss out on the bonus. Snooty is the 4th player into double figures - he only got 3 correct results but these included the gamball and bonus, showing how important it is to get those damn balls right!
Talking of which... Stairs equalled BaggieOne's correct scores/results but only scored half as many points due a wipe out on his balls. He was though able to outscore SCO and Derby both of whom scored on just 3 games but at least got their bonuses correct.
41 Lady Jane
31 Derby
30 BaggieOne
28 Stairs
26 BBB
25 Snooty
24 SCO
Another good week, and another gamball win sees Lady Jane extend her early lead to a healthy 10 points. Derby retains 2nd place but it's getting a bit crowded with just 7 points separating 6 players. Stairs is the only player not to score on the gamball while Derby and Snooty have 100% records with the bonus.
A week off for the International break, arranged so that SCO can climb into his Speedos and enjoy his holidays - yes, he has that level of influence!

They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.
