Spanish team Real Zaragoza are on the brink of liquidation if their plan to repay their debts in instalments fails. Seeing a club like Zaragoza go bust will be very sad because they are one of Spain's best supported clubs. Other Spanish clubs have been allowed to use similar instalment plans in the past for their money problems due to overspending on players and coaches etc so I hope that Zaragoza are allowed to as well because it is never nice to read about any club going bust.

Seeing this sort of report shows just how lucky we are to have Jeremy Peace running our club. He may not always make the right decision but he never puts the clubs future in any jeopardy by taking big financial risks.

Josh, completely agree with you. JP has come in for a lot of stick over the years but, you have to admire the way he runs the club on a sound financial footing.

JP has taken us along long way, we were a second tier club just looking up and wishing for the streets paved with gold, under his stewardship we mad the jump to YOYO club, we invested wisely and without succumbing to peer or some fan pressure to run before we could walk, we climbed above the YoYo tag and now are almost an established club, last season was a close run thing, more sound footing this year, and all being well the next couple of seasons should see us establish ourselves as a mid to upper level club. Then, with god speed and a fair wind we could start pushing for silverware and European football ...........

JP is not perfect but things could be a lot worse, always supported him, I remember the 90's, many clubs have reached the promised land only to collapse into a horrible big heap and have to start again ............ I honestly believe that will not happen to THE ALBION.

A club that I love with all my being and could no sooner get rid than I could get rid of my heart or soul.
