Nobody in the away end knew why it was a penalty, although to be fair the away end was behind the goals and behind the running track, rumour has the back of the end was Albania it was that far back.
Still at least I didn’t have to listen to Dion Dublin :-D

The lad did the right thing pulling his arms down to avoid (any suspicion of) a handball. The MKD/Aberdeen striker gets his face in the way of one of his arms and goes down like a ton of bricks. Far less of a penalty shout than McGuire's rugby tackle. Then again, we had another ref wanting to be the star of the show last night.
If only we'd known we were playing Milton Keynes Dons and not North Macedonia, Southgate might have used different tactics.  What matters is we'd already qualified and don't appear to have injured anyone. In other news Wales U21's won't be sending Jones back to us injured again, as he's still injured from the last time he trained with them.

Division One results for Matchday 16: Not a right good week for St Charles this week, but he still managed to increase his lead at the top of the table. That's because Baggie Bob scored this week's lowest, a miserly 4 points. SCO got ten to increase his lead to 20.
The top score this week went to jjamez with 18, closely followed by themaclad and theo the luddite both with 16, with neonfoxinthebox scoring 12. What that means is that for the first time this season, themaclad has climbed out of the bottom two and the fox has dropped in there. Jjamez is in third still and has closed the gap on Bob to 21 points. All positions and points are close enough to have many a change between now and Boxing Day. Everything still to play for.

Division Two results for Matchday 16: Very close scoring this week with four players all equal with 18 points, which was the top score. That was Snooty, Ritchie, Devon and Shep in joint lead, with Wakey just a couple of points behind on 16. Only Amelia had a poor score this week, but she's still 20 points above Shep in the overall table.
