Personally, I can`t see Jordan Ibe being prepared to come down to National League level and, to be honest, I`d be quite concerned if he was.
According to the DT Oldham are after Andy Dallas, which suggests he hasn`t signed for us as rumoured. That would be a shame, as I think he and Will Grigg up front would give us a hell of an attacking threat and us a lot more goals this season - which i know Cookie was looking for last year.
Looking forward to next season already. I think I`ll be off to Matlock on Tuesday; haven`t been to Causeway Lane for years.

I've just been reading about Jordon Ibe and his depression and driving straight into a coffee shop in Bromley etc .......... I hope we sign him in a way and then put some fun into his footballing life. He's hardly ever even scored in senior football. I'd like to see us do something good. Just for once.
Won't tomorrow be the day we learn if we struck oil with Dallas - today being 30th June and the end of contracts?
Nice to hear your enthusiasm Salts. Causeway Lane is a delightful memory. Hope Matlock play Duhameau against us.
I like the good version of Dallas. I just worry about the Dallas who can hit long barren patches during which his speed guarantees him ever more chances to fail in front of goal. That said he ends up with a decent return every season.

I didn`t realise that Jordan Ibe suffered from depression. I went down that road myself some years ago and it`s not a place I would wish anyone to be, so if stepping down to National League helps him get his life back on track, then good luck to him and I would welcome him. From the little I`ve seen of him, I would say that he`s far too good for the National League but he would have to be good for us.

He couldn't get a game when he went to Turkey and his contract was cancelled by mutual ....... He couldn't get a game at Derby. He said he's been in a dark place. Strikes me we haven't a lot to lose and if he started to play with anything like his old zest not only would we benefit on field, but he was once worth £15million, he's 27. We could sell him on to the level he should be playing at couldn't we? Resurrecting his career would be a wonderful thing to do.
As for you, do you know that you sound like one of the least depressable men in the country? Happy and satisfied with life! A man with two cats should never be depressed. My one cat does her best to keep my head above water. Take care of yourself Salts. The world is a richer place for those who can still feel a genuine hatred of Alf stirring in their blood. Keep waddling and breathing!
