Scottish Cup final - it's St Johnstone v Hibs!!

The recordings I've seen look genuine.
One of the players is banging the table in rhythm, one of the players is giving the middle finger in time to 'f*ck the pope' and you can clearly see some official trying to stop the filming.
If that video is doctored, it is a masterclass in audio mixing. Whoever it is should be working at abbey road studios.

But remember the whole kamara racism issue ? I took his side because it looked the most likely truth from the footage. Just as I'm certain the most likely outcome -that the huns sang it- is the true one here.

There still persists this view in sections of Scottish life that catholics are 'fair game' - its time now for the SG to make it clear that this isn't on anymore.

Could you ever see them admitting that this footage was genuine anyway Jim???? I reckon FIFA would be embroiled in the investigations as well as the SFA, the Scot Govt and the Scot Police as this is a blatant violation of the rules of footie that cover religion and politics, a "no no" in the sport! I watched this video as well and one can see it certainly looks genuine based on the whole lead up to this disgraceful scene of players and officials of RFC being embarrassingly exposed AGAIN!! There is also another issue re that past accusation of them playing "free and loose" when it came to abiding by the COVID regs - been exposed time n again in different video footage down the months.

Naah, they just hit their 'all out to get us' fallback rather than confront the truth.

When rangers died and were relaunched the first thing they had to do was get the hardcore support back onside, and that meant pandering to a lot of racist bigoted knuckle draggers which culminated in the events at the weekend.

Even if the sound IS doctored (and that should be easy to prove as many people are in shot filming it) then it's an admittance that the COVID breaches are genuine and they should be getting the fecking book thrown at them.

They are getting a right going over in parliament right now about it, but I have no faith in police Scotland when it comes to stuff involving sevco. And thats way past paranoia now with what we have seen in recent years.

A number of churches in and around Glasgow were subject to vandalism and anti-Catholic abuse over the weekend, the Guardian has learned, as Rangers supporters rampaged through the city centre on Saturday.

Windows were smashed at the St Maria Goretti church estate in Cranhill, north-east Glasgow. At another church, which has asked not to be identified, a banner with anti-Catholic slogans was draped across railings in time for evening mass, before it was removed by church officials. There were further reports of abusive heckling of those within church grounds. The Guardian understands that two incidents were reported to Police Scotland.

Neil Gray, the newly elected MSP for Airdrie and Shotts, in whose constituency one of the incidents took place, said he has received a number of complaints about anti-Catholic bigotry and racism from the weekend and raised them with the police. “We cannot tolerate bigotry, hatred and racism in any form and football can no longer be a front for this behaviour. I hope those responsible are brought to justice quickly.”

The absolute state of this. This needs to be clamped down on now..... Get strict liability back on the table for a start.

Despicable acts of violence and abuse by a sizeable minority of Rangers supporters. The authorities need to get it sorted NOW, not just talk about it. I agree with jim about strict liability - it might not be the complete answer, but it will concentrate a few minds.

Turns out an FOI on the Scots Gov shows the police were none too happy with the rangers staff and players mixing with fans after they clinched the league v st Mirren. They repeatedly broke covid protocol, and the club failed in its responsibilities in preventing gatherings outside ibrox.

"However, police said the Gers "actively engaged" in statements that egged the supporters on, instead of sending out a stay at home message.

In the damning memo, Superintendent Emma Croft and Chief Supt Mark Sutherland said: "On conclusion of the match a small number returned to continue the celebrations, the Rangers Team engaged the crowd through gates and by hanging out of open windows despite assurances from the Club that no such activities would happen. 2 arrests were made during the event for minor disorder."

Full story is in the record.

Re the strict liability issue, it certainly looks like this could finally be forced on footie clubs after listening to the debate in the Scottish Parliament that covered the unacceptable behaviour and public disorder issues plus the highly questionable activities of officials and players of RFC.
