LAST MATCH

Well in true Wednesday fashion, we go to the league leaders and manage to win, with a little help from the home team. Wigan bossed possession but we defended fairly well, but weren't offering anything on the attacking end. Then out of the blue a long ball forward was headed into his own net from about 25 yards by Max Power after lack of communication which left there keeper stranded. Onto the 2nd and we started better and made it 0-2 when Gregory robbed there defender and crossed for Paterson to finish well. We made it a nervy last 10 mins when Johnson pulled down on of there attackers and Wyke converted the penalty. We managed to hold out and took the 3 points and up to 9th place.

THE MATCH

Next up Oxford United at Hillsborough. They have had a mixed start to the season, a bit like us and currently lie in 8th place after thrashing Accrington 5-1 Tuesday night. James Henry is there leading scorer but didn't get on the scoresheet. They are managed by Karl Robinson who has been in charge for 3 years and got them to the playoff final in 19-20 season but lost to Wycombe. Will they manage to stay near the playoff spots as the season drags on only time will tell.

I'm sticking my kneck out with this prediction but surely we are due a bigger win at home !

Meet the cheat : He's never reffed us before he's just a lower league referee from fiddlerland.

Got to take 3pts here to make these last 4pts seem like form .

Plus we could have the Bolton game postponed for international call ups as BFP is called up already ! but possibly not this time as i don't think Bolton will have enough call-ups like ourselves .

There's no way on earth the ref would have given us the penalty Wigan got Angry play on and booked for diving at the next break in play would have been the verdict  Angry

This Saturday I'm thinking of painting the downstairs toilet or queuing for petrol at 3 o'clock Cool

Pom voting time ...well it's been a shite September like per bloody usual .. international break destroying it then 5pts in 4 games which is only acceptable in the premier league ...
I've gone for Iorfa as he's been pretty solid and hasn't been the one letting the goals in.

Still unsure if i will make the game, My Grandsons due date was Monday just gone, still no sign of him making an appearance! No doubt tomorrow will be the day. so i will end up having to look after my granddaughter! which will most likely bring me more joy than going to the game!

Still not seen us lose!
