With Trump more like crazy golf.

With how much Lai paid its hard to envisage him accepting much less than what he paid and its hard to imagine anyone shelling out anywhere near the £150 mil asking price with our yo-yo reputation. Possibly if we were sat in the top half of the table they may take a gamble, we are hard core fans and who amongst us would bet the house, let alone £150 million that we will not get relegated?

They should have an agreement similar to player contracts. £150m now but a further £25m if WBA remain in the Premier League per year fro two years.

No idea if this is correct but just read this.
Sources in America indicate it could be Vernon Hill or David Tepper Both are billionaires.
It could probably a while if it does happen. But it gives us something to talk about instead of VAR.

Don't know if you heard the latest E & D podcast, they were estimating the cost of a top line Championship club to be around the £75 million mark.

FYI

Vernon Hill apparently has a fortune of $415 million dollars - where as David Tepper is estimated to be worth $12 Billion dollars

$415m = £310m.
Will Lai accept half of that? £100m?

Won't be Vernon Hill then!

Unless he uses someone else's money to buy the club? Both are bankers and hedge fund managers. Sure to have a circle of wealthy friends.

Been reported in the daily mail that there are 6 interested parties in buying the Albion, so we have an auction starting with
2pints of lager and a packet of crisps. Any more offers please.
