Sheridan ditches Wigan for Swindon.

They deserve each other.

There are so many roundabouts on the way out he'll never get home when he's had a drink, which is always.

So he ditched Waterford for Wigan who were being attacked by their owner, and now he ditches penniless Wigan for the silicon desert of Swindon.

And football managers wonder why clubs give them no loyalty ..........

Can he get another club in before Christmas? And who interviews him for these positions. Don't they notice he can barely speak? Obviously he was afraid Wigan wouldn't be able to pay him off after he was sacked.

Tommy Wright said to be going as his assistant? I thought he was still inside.
Dont know if its true but I read Waterford and Swindon had the same owners. If so then you would have thought once bitten twice shy. Unless you were looking to launder money from the EU into the UK. If so they have picked the right team. Wonder if Uncle Dave is on the fringe.

Lee Power is Swindon's Chairman and owner and he is also Waterford's Chairman and owner.

Tommy Wright was already at Swindon working apparently successfully under Richie Wellens. According to the Swindon Advertiser the club were desperate to keep both Wright and Noel Hunt on and were scared Wellens would try to poach them for Salford.

Swindon Advertiser? I can't imagine many harder jobs than advertising Swindon.

So what was the connection between Lee Power and the incredibly dodgy Wigan owner that took Sheridan on this over-long pub crawl? The FA clearly did not really do a fit-and-proper on Wigan's far eastern gambler, before he deducted them 12 points and had them relegated. You really would not be surprised if Casino Dave Allen did not have a finger in this pie.

THE FA REALLY IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. It has more to worry about that dinosaurs like Greg Clarke.

It is worth asking where the much-travelled footballer Lee Power got his money, how fit and proper a person he seems to be in charge of a football club -

In 2003 Power, along with a business partner, Daniel Lake, set up a sports publishing company called Cre8 UK. In 2008, Cre8 UK collapsed owing football clubs including Birmingham City and Watford more than £2.1 million. In 2011, Cre8 UK’s “successor”, Cre8 Publishing, which became one of the UK’s largest printers of football club matchday magazines, was also liquidated owing football and rugby clubs among unsecured creditors another £2 million.

The latter collapse came after Arsenal filed a legal action against the publishing group claiming £270,000 of unpaid royalties. At the time, Jonathan Siburn, writing in the Daily Telegraph, reported: “Mr Lake did not return calls while Mr Power could not be reached.”

Mr Power owns racehorses. Gambling is very popular in the Far East. They bet on English racing and football ............

Before he took over Swindon, Power had contacts with several clubs at boardroom level. Apparently his Waterford connection is family based, which was why he was qualified to play for the Republic.

Fit and proper ....... pull the other one.
