Fans are naturally worried that Wet Sham may recall Grady due to his performances for us. If he is recalled, IMHO we do have very good backup options. One is Jonathan Leko ( if we have a call back clause). He seems to be doing very well for Charlton. The other is Chris Willock ( who i see scored again in the PL2 League). Yes i would love to see Dwight Gayle back BUT i don't think it is going to happen. Your thoughts please my fellow baggies.

While it's true that either could make a handy replacement, the disruption of losing a settled, in-form player like Diangana would be a big blow to our momentum at a critical time of the season. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen.

I hope Grady stays, both him and West Ham seem to be making the right noises for this to happen. However if Pellegrini is sacked then anything can happen. Reason to support West Ham!
I thought Leko had had his chance with us, and I must admit doing better than I thought he would at Charlton, so credit to the guy, but I think he should remain there for the season.
Willock is doing great for the under 23’s and we appear to have an option to buy and I think we should take up the option if it’s not too much in January and start bringing him in to the squad.
We also have Jamie Soule and Rayhaan Tulloch Both doing well in the under 23’s and all still in their teens.
Plus Kyle Edwards
But I hope Grady stays. If he does we need to get some for the future out on loan.

I thought this was pretty much sorted when Pellegrini said just a couple of weeks ago he was "happy for Diangana to remain at West Brom for the campaign". I understand Lanzini is out for a few months after breaking his collar bone, but still West Sham are still saying " Diangana remains set on staying at West Brom despite Lanzini’s shattering injury". But to answer the OP, at present Willock, Leko has had his runs out in the first team and I find him to be a touch lazy off the ball, if he has the ball he is fine, but if he has to run to go get it, well that is a different story.

If Pellegrini gets the bullet things could change very quickly? Grady could be disappear depending on the circumstances.
Willock should be in the 1st team squad IMO, all of our strikers (HRK / Austin / Zohore) have not claimed the number 9 shirt. It's still up for grabs.
If a reasonable offer came in for Leko I would be inclined to let him go. His chances with us are limited IMO.
Come January I see a loan striker coming in, but unless the likes of Gibbs / Ferguson / Hegazi leave I can't see us buying anyone to sit on the bench.
Looking forward Field and Harper must also be at a cross roads and I can't see Brunty or Barry carrying on after this season.
