Championship Play-Off Final - Monday 25th May 2020
The new season kicks-off on Saturday 3rd August, with the summer transfer window coming to a close at 5pm on Thursday 8th August, with this the deadline for all incoming permanent and loan registrations.
The first round of the Carabao Cup will take place the week commencing 12th August, with the draw to be made in June.
The 2019/20 season will end on the weekend commencing 1st May, and the season-ending Sky Bet EFL Play-Offs will once again be staged at Wembley Stadium. This time they will be held across two weekends in May, with the League Two Final starting proceedings on Saturday 16 May, before League One and the Championship take centre stage the following weekend on Sunday 24 May and Monday 25 May, respectively.
The scheduling of the respective Play-Off Finals is due to a busy period in the football calendar, with Wembley Stadium also hosting fixtures at Euro 2020, including the Semi-Finals and Final.
